Tbh, I prefer the details on the NECA because the SHMA just looks like that it was just a full blue translucent plastic figure with the charcoal grey painted over it (that still looks awesome though). I love the details and different mixtures of blues that the NECA has. But that's just my opinion

I definitely say the NECA. It's a descent figure with a cooler paint job, better looking atomic blast, and it's for a much better price.

I love the fact tha neca was like "AHA TOP THIS" after the vanilla was curbstomped by the shma one And bandai was like "OHOHOHOHOHOHOHO YOU FOOLISH MORTAL LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO THE SHADOW RELM JIMBO!!!" LOVE IT

Isnt the neca figure supposed to be godzilla powered up from the final fight,and the sh monsterarts supposed to be the poster ver?

NECA is a figure company who makes figures from many movies or shows. S.H Monsterarts makes figures too,but have more articulation in their figures. Great video!

I have the atomic charged version. But mine has issues ( like the legs being in crooked places and the arm keeps popping off). But strangely the original version that I have doesn’t even have those issues.

Not suprized the SHMA won, the base figure is better already so it makes sense the repaints would stack up the same when compared with each other.

Had a question for the Rodan and Mothra figure fights. Are you gonna do Rodan and Mothra's seperately, or do them as a pair since you could get a more accurate price for the two of them with the SHMA 2 pack an all?

Ordered my Poster Version Months ago, and honestly I can't be happier with how it is. Saw the Neca in store and just.... egh, I'm glad Neca is an option for collectors but I'm just not happy with their line, everything they do SHMA does SOOO much better. At least with them I feel I get the bang for my buck, of the Neca figures I have they just feel inferior, but hey still glad they exist.

This time SHMA wins because it's simply the only one that can recreate the poster/movie scene pose that this release was based directly on. The Neca figure can't tilt his head upward anywhere close enough to do so.

I think the neca should of tied in accessories and won in paint because dont forget neca has a splash effect with his beam and also his paint is better with lightning strikes and for some reason also on mine theres like a teel cyan light green at the bottom part of all his spikes but I think it's pretty cool because it reminds me of radiation

Me personally, I just like the NECA better. Knew the SHMA was gonna win (as any SHMA should be better than any NECA but Bandai isn't doing good in that department) though I kinda feel the accessories really should've been a tie. Technically the backdrop point is null and void when the NECA also has a backdrop. While the backdrop is a gimmick, the same has to go for the SHMA. That's just me and my silly thinking though. Great figure fight as they all are

My opinion: Sculpt/Accuracy: Neca 2-0 Articulation/Paint: Shma 2-2 Accessories: Shma 2-3 Price: Neca 3-3 Scale: = 4-4.. Uh.. Welp.. It’s tied… But SHMA takes the win in my opinion, but for your bank account, Neca.

They look very good but the necas head sculpt looks exactly like it's 2014 counterpart but they are very accurate

I couldn’t disagree more on the accessories round since the neca also came with a backdrop! It’s in the box and is clearly in there! Also, IMO I like the paint on the neca’s more since it’s more accurate!

Finally

Basically Monsterart will never stop being detailed and they made price extra expensive because of there hardworking and there all godzilla toys are all from movies all of them and while neca, neca toys are expensive but sometimes if no luck you a missing part or tight joints so monsterart and neca are great company's no matter what you buy from them they are all good

So I personally like the NECA version better. I do think the blues they used to paint the Monsterarts version looks better and richer, but the overall paint application of the NECA looks better. The NECA has more textural methods of paint, like how all the cracks of the spines and scales have blue paint to make that internal glowing affect come through, whereas the Monsterarts version looks more like you painted a crystal sculpture with black paint and an airbrush to hide some of the blue. There’s less texture to it, even though the colors themselves do look better. I also think the head sculpt for NECA looks a bit more like Godzilla, whereas the Monsterarts kinda looks like a crocodile. Also as for movement, I’ve found using a pocket knife to actually cut parts of the figure works great. It’s kinda dangerous if you aren’t careful, but cutting off the scales on the back of the head and bottom of the neck just a little bit helps increase the range of motion without breaking the sculpt. I even did the same for my Shin Godzilla figure and now his tail is straight and he can look up a good amount

I have a personal question for You if you don't mind Steven?-( My SH monsterarts godzilla 2019 figure has a problem with its right arm, it's to tight and I can't quite get it to turn a full 360? What do I do to make it move smoothly without having to fear about breaking the ball joint?)

I'll go with NECA. It's more natural now plus there getting better and better with there efforts now I mean the eyes are really great.and from SH well I'm not really interested with the eyes even known its still great cause that glow from neca is really badass.

The SHMA figure is technically nicer, but for me it's not so much nicer as to justify the price difference. I can live with slightly less articulation on a figure that's fairly comparable but less than half the price.

I think he he neca sculpt and paint are better, because the sh monsterarts sculpt is a bunch of generic small scales, with some rare parts when it get better, but neca, neca has a better sculpt because it looks has more scale variety, but the sh material is better, and the neca paint looks more detailed, sh monsterarts only have a good gradual paint

Neca wins by a landslide imo. The sheer fact that the SHMA is extremely rare and expensive kills it dead in the water. If it had been properly released, it would absolutely win. However, seeing how hard it is to get compared to the Neca which is definitely a close contender, SHMA spitfire Goji 2019 has got nothing on Neca.

NECA burning Godzilla 2019 in my opinion wins against SH, been debating which one to get and the NECA one won, its really nice the SH monsterarts but i love the NECA one, the translucent plastic and the paintjob is just awesome, and I can get two for the price of one SH MONSTERARTS

I like NECA because they make decent figures(not great) for a reasonable price. If I had more money, I am going MonsterArts for the whole King of Monsters collection. They just look better and are higher quality imo. But I'm a broke grad student so I pre-ordered the NECA figures instead lol.
