In this video, I’ll take a look at this awesome and cheap Fiido D3 Pro electric bike.
As you know I’m a sucker for a bargain and this little D3 Pro gives a great bang for the buck. It’s basically a small and cheap foldable Ebike, with plenty of features packed in.

Very great and thorough review, thank you very much!! I have a Fiido D4S and I am astonished at how reliable it is. So when I saw the D3 at the bargain price of £363 I got it as a back up bike. Awaiting its delivery and I thank you for showing how to put it together. Safe riding all ❤️✌️

It's ok, not too bad. But on long steep hills it may struggle. Also, hills will affect the battery life so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the review Jourdain, very well presented and very well filmed and not too long. Can you just cofirm how well this bike performs in pedal only on the flat and also on hills? The lack of gears is the only thing that makes me hesitate. Thanks.

It's a good bike... but with the single gear going up hill with no assist is not the easiest. If there were a couple of gears it would be a big help. Honestly, I only ever ride in full assist, mainly because you have to pedal super quick because of the gearing. I just pedal up to speed, then let the motor do the rest. Rinse repeat. 👍🏽

I have 2 fiidos the m1 and the L3 I love them build quality is very good nice and solid and the L 3 has a massive range a guy in the usa got 74 miles no peddling.

@@pinoyrunningpenguin the m1 although the l3 had a big range it felt to small and the weight on the back made it lighter on the front end . so I did not like the way it handled sold it so now I just have my m1 which I still love.

@@pinoyrunningpenguin it was not that I could not fit the l3 plenty of adjustment. I was not keen on the small wheels I think the smallest I would go is 16 in I had the d2s which I really liked as well .I think that after 50 years riding motorcycles the m1 was more my style 🤔

Why does no one talk about the problems of fixing punctures\changing tyres on rear wheels? Most of these bikes make it impossible to remove the rear wheel, so how does this one stack up?

This is a good point. I've not had an issue to date with the rear tyre so I've not had to try. Maybe I will do a video to see what it's like to change a tyre/inner tube. I assume the motor cables need to be slack enough to allow you to move the wheel away from the bike 🤔

@@JourdainColeman Yeah that's it exactly, it seems alot of these bikes are a nightmare to change rear tyres, but no one talks about it, maybe this one is fine I'm not sure.

Needs a rack that's also a to stand it up on its end. Makes sense not having a folding frame.

I paid £374 including the hard handlebar bag but no pump on it anymore, that’s extra at £59 😢

Yh they stopped putting the pump on the seat post. Unfortunately, it was an ingenious idea I think.

@@JourdainColeman Seems alright! My only complaint is with the seat, I wish it could tilt back a little. Other than that I'm happy.

@@martinmccue7495 for the money I'm happy. I love going out on it (I just got back from riding around the park) I went to town earlier on it too. Still, my only complaint is that it's not the most comfortable ride, especially if the path is bumpy. Literally best to stand up on the peddles and use the throttle over bumpy bits. Probably be sorted by a better seat or maybe a suspension seat post. Be prepared for people looking at you, as if they have never seen a bike before.
