I have these earbuds and they are as good as my more expensive Kinera Idun wired IEMs. I listen mostly to Classical and Jazz and the stereo separation and spaciousness is exceptional, especially with live Boston Symphony broadcasts. They are well worth the price. Thanks Dave for the detailed review. I agree the app is a great help in tweeking the sound.

Nice review. A little feedback - the eartips are not just different sizes, but design and material different. This is supposed to allow for better vocal or balanced quality, depending on which type you select.

Wait so are we supposed to: 1. turn the volume all the way up on the Fiio app and then control volume through our phone (source) or 2. Turn the volume up all the way on our phone (source) and then control the volume through the Fiio app? Cause i swear its the second option but you said to do the 1st option

You should never turn the volume all the way up on the source device; that'll produce clipping and distort the music.

Presumably. My experience is that I *never* max my audio source with any devices or gear...
