5:12 Sound Quality

i received my KA2 a few days ago - comparing it the usual companion with my ier-m9, the Tempotec e44, the KA2 does seem slightly more 'lush' compared to the e44's dry and relaxed approach. I think i prefer the e44 pairing with m9 but will live with the KA2 as the daily for a bit to see if that remains to be the case. a few benefits of the KA2 that cannot be discounted: - form factor is light and small enough that you don't feel like you have to craddle it when using it with a phone on the go - built in cable means there isnt another connection adding to the length. This also helps it disappear in on-the-go use and curls up with the cable. - it remembers the hardware settings (volume/filter/gain/etc) so you just plug and play without notification or need to open the app! how does the KA2 sit in terms of the KA3/Ovidius comparison

Did you try to compare the KA2 with the KA3 on balanced cable? What is the difference in harshness and power?

Can I use the ka2 with unbalanced headphones? Is an adapter 4.4mm to 3.5mm good choice?

I have kz-ZSX so which one out of these 3 would you recommend? I am not sure how much power output my ZSXs can take, please let me know!

Fiio KA2 uses balanced so of course it sounds different, not an huge discover

Is the age of expensive daps gone? I have a ka3 and M11 pro but struggle to find usage of M11, especially after the battery bulged on it and now it has horrible battery life which usb dongles wont have to deal with. Other positive is being able to use much smoother smartphone UI for music browsing instead of old android OS in most daps

Does KA1's have enough power to drive tin hifi t3 plus which are 32 ohm IEMs?

I just lost my KA1 & need to replace it. I was fairly happy with it but wished it had a bit more power. The KA 2 appears to be betterI’d get the KA3 but I’m really concerned about battery drain. How much of a difference is it ? How does the KA2 compare with dragonfly cobalt? I’m using 64audio u18s iems. I got a Senheiser hd 599 and ka2 with lightning. How can I listen to music with a 3.5 mm headphone jack ? I got a 4.4 male to 3.5 male adapter but it wasn't working properly. Can you only use a 4.4 headphone jack with Ka2?

Just as a comment to add, FIIO KA3 it is not recognized by the Motorola g(20) cell phone, I have updated it with two more "complete" roms and for some reason that I did not find documented it could never be recognized. I tried it with Samsung cell phones of various models, iPhone and Xiaomi and no problem, they all recognize them except Motorola. If someone has it connected to a Motorola, I appreciate your comments. Greetings !!!

Sorry for the stupid question, but I have fiio ka3 dongle dac/amp and fiio Q5 dac/amp. Can I connect both of them together and use Q5 just as an amp?
