Very good sir, there is no wrong or right way to make chopsuey.... as it has no exact origin. The dish chopsuey has been made in many variations so to each their own. Many countries have their own way of making it. However I think you made it wonderfully and added your personal touches which makes it unique. So keep doing your best. Avoid the negative comments, good job!!

Everything is perfectly done but what sauce does makes the taste of chop suey different from the dish i make i use soy sauce but i think there's more to it

And don't marinate for too long as the soya sauce would soak into the chicken too much. It's abit salty
