I am an older woman who loves martial arts but I am now disabled so you let me still live it through you. Thank you so much for this. I watch all of your stuff and it just brings me to life. My legs wont let me do a lot anymore but you let me still enjoy it. My kids are adults and love anime and this just brings it all together for my family. Thank you so much. I am also from Kansas. Get a wooden sword with a sheath! Actors in dexterity in to get used to the motions before I use a live sword... Now I wasn't trained with aluminum swords or prop swords or anything like that. Also there are some moves you can do with a wooden sword that you just can't do with metal... I study Mugai Ryu Iaido

Your experience with the sword cut made me remember that one scene in One Piece when Zoro tosses this cursed sword ( I think it is named Kitetsu ) up in the air and then puts his left hand in its way just to test his luck vs the curse of the sword, awesome scene btw I'm sure you know it. I feel that. When I was new to swords. I had the blade turned the wrong way. I was trying to keep the blade close. I sliced from my hip to my shoulder blade. Luckily it was just enough to bleed.
