What is more funny 😹 is this is even a thing. I would understand if someone ripped off your physical art as that a physical thing but a digital model has as much value an NFT, right click copy and paste

@@kweons that the model curator has any rights at all. You see fair use would protect you if you suitably change the model which you would if you are a v-tuber just to distinguish yourself away from competition. Which makes the whole situation laughable

@@Zabzim Do you think the same for digital art if so, do you support ai art cuz just because it isn't physical doesn't mean that it doesn't have any rights or hold any value and it takes time to learn how to even make models and even its own digital art combined for the textures I know this because I have made models before so hearing this just de-values the work that it takes to make these sort of things just because they might be someone who you like to watch just don't say anything and continue to watch them but saying this and referring it to a NFT is insulting people who put actual work in order for other people to have these models so that they can enjoy using them especially for the low price this model is up for

@@tommycruz39 AI art has no rights whatsoever. Art has to be made by a human and for me it also has to have been physically produced too. For art on internet is just that, the internet is like worlds sea and oceans. Jurisdictions can claim parts they control but no one can claim ownership of water that makes the ocean or the data that makes the internet. If you cast something into the internet, it doesn’t matter how protected you think it is. You lost all control, maybe if someone prints it out, doesn’t change it and then try to sells it you can wrestle a piece of control back but once you have cast it out, it’s there for everyone. If you don’t like it, don’t cast it out! Simple.

i feel it was a mistake and agree she should of contacted the artist we dont know the details of what happened just what being spreed online, and lets face it people will just hate on her simply because one she is a vtuber and two she is popular nothing more she im also not a big follower of this stuff nor do i really follow drama mostly i dont give a shit if you upload somthing online to a game dont expect people to pay if you wanted to make money to upload it online until people pay.

It's laughable that people try to defend Filian with saying: "The ToS changed when Filian became popular!" (Doesn't matter for which model) She legit says herself she ripped her model off of VRchat, so she had NO rights at all in any way to use it for VTubing or merch anyway. Doesn't matter if she ripped a already recolored model or the original and recolored it herself. If the other models were obtained in a similar way, the corresponding artists should push for a lawsuit, atleast that's what I think. They have the right to and should use it to get their money for the merch sales. Also laughable, that she blocks mentions of the drama... shows she is just a dumbass, that doesn't respect the artists. Only when the backlash is big enough she "does". Plus defending and using AI art for fansly, when she has far enough money to pay artists, just adds to the dumpster fire I think. Great video overall, thanks for the summarization.

To be blunt. Using clips out of context, and then using a joke to condemn her isn't really a good look, or good points. What facts do we know? That is what is important. You are doing exactly what you said you weren't doing at the very beginning lmao. Dipping into the drama to try and grow your channel off of it.

@@Snicket_Lee We know the artist statement, and Fillians statement. Along with some clips that were clearly jokes at the time, but MAY have a kernal of truth. Both artist, and Fillians statements are he said she said with no actual proof either way. This isn't news it is opinion piece with a hint of news.
