For everyone who does uber/skip etc, set aside 10.2% of your earnings, as you will have to pay that amount towards your CPP. Eg- if you earn $1000 then save $102 for CPP. When you work for an employer, 5.1% of your earnings is automatically subtracted for CPP so you dont have to worry about setting aside anything for CPP.

2 Corrections: 1. The deadline for filing tax this year is May 1st because 30th April falls in Sunday. 2. The RRSP contribution limit for the 2023 taxation year is 18% of earned income you reported on your tax return in the previous year, up to a maximum of $30,780

18% of your income but maximum contribution is only 31,560 for 2023. Not accurate info Paaji, You will get penalized by CRA if you contribute more than your contribution limit in TFSA or RRSP
