Hey there!!!, I'm from Dominican Republic and about to marry a norwegian guy and I for sure understand your pain, when it comes to get the visa on time, after waiting for more than 6 to 7 weeks to get a confirmation from the visa people, and then waiting for 2 more weeks just to have my passport back with me. that loooong wait was surely worth it when I finally got to be with my baby, but oh boy, will never forget the sleepless nights and the constant worry to get my visa on time, I had to cancel my first flight and then they canceled the second one... 😅 so would highly recommend to buy an insured flight ticket when you apply for this type of visa, or try start with the process at least 3 months ahead of your intended departure, I'm glad to see you made it!!! Kabayan..Iceland is my favorite to visit. I will be there for my 2nd visit on July 2023 from Chicago. It takes less than 7 hours flight from Chicago to Reykjavik. I'm so excited to visit again in Iceland.. Blue Lagoon is the best in Iceland !!! 🇮🇸 💙

I got married twice, the first one died of cancer. My husband now is same age like me. I was working full-time as well at that time while taking care of him. Married to older than you is better, they more understanding.
