I have to admit, I can't help but get a little worried when I am walking with my small dog even in my quiet neighborhood in Northern California because of the recent attacks. It’s the principle of it all. If we forgive, we will be forgiven. Holding on will only result in a bitter heart and that alone is a heavy weight to carry around in life. Forgiveness is freedom.

As Asian we are afraid. My daughter had painful experiences and every time she told me her experiences as Asian, she gets emotional. I just keep her comfort, explain and told her to be strong and we were here for her, I told her to be strong.Keep praying to stop Asian hate and stop the hate to anybody, just be kind to one another.🙏

There are surveys which ranks filipinos as racist but they never really understand that we are all fascinated by foreigners they just misinterpreted it. We are a very welcoming people, very fanatic very hospitable not until anyone else kick our ass...but we're very forgiving to every non-fake remorse.

@@romeoETmike every country has criminals. Focus on the majority. We are very accommodating and kind-hearted people. The man was shocked because nobody helped him. When somebody almost hit my mom on the road, everyone nearby came in for rescue. When I injured my foot on my way home, people helped me to get up, offering to take me to the hospital, lending their cellphones so I can call my family, and giving me water and food, and 1st aid treatment. If I were him, I would be shocked too. Because it's not in our culture not to care. Uso din tsismosa saten and they call for help.😉 Don't let the few bad apples cause you to be ashamed of being Filipino.

Every American visitors come in the Philippines we treat them as if they are our own family. now seeing this hate that we Filipino or Asian's in general is so heart breaking.. We Filipinos are not brutal in nature but this is clear sign of provocation. We may forgive but we cant forget. Funny , those hateful racist must be really ignorant about American history, ..the white people themselves are from Europe and not native of America. American economy is strongest because of their companies and investments around the world including Asia. So without the profit from those investments American welfare will never be as good. Philippines after being colonized by Spain for 300 yrs was sold to US which in turn colonized the Phil. for another hundred years. We can only imagine how the Philippine resources served the US interests during that time. Philippines is the only Christian country in Asia,..so we are as God fearing, and truly hospitable to foreigners. Welcoming invaders with open arms.

Thank you both of you gentleman to post this video. As an Asian American, this is my first time I’ve seen it. The fact is racism is part of America, but the hopeful thing is it is overall is improving. Our youth here and around the world are standing up against it when we see videos like these to spread the awareness. I’m a nurse and my hospital do mandatory inservices to raise awareness about racial insensitivity, bias, and discrimination. This is a start is to do it in school and at work. As for these crimes, crimes are crimes and criminals need to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Fortunately, this man survives, others do not. Again, thank you for your true compassion, especially for the caring of us, strangers. One person does make a difference. You both make a difference!

Noel is so brave and have a real big heart ❤ At work, I was asked one morning by my supervisor if I know how to speak, write and understand English. Well, probably my English is not good enough to her. Instead of getting mad, I just simply said. I need a translator badly lol. There's a lot of forms of Racism but I don't really give attention to it because I can't do anything about it. It's always out there. I'll just pray to them.
