Having lived in Bacolod all my life and eating at Sharyn's since I was a kid, I used to eat Cansi the 'vanilla' way. But ever since being with my wife from Manila (and their fascination with putting Fish Sauce on sinigang, bulalo etc. ) I must say that pairing Cansi with fish sauce with calamsi and katumbal is life changing. 👌

We did try the cansi and it was so delicious. The broth was so beefy and sour and most of all, not too salty. Perfect for the rainy season. And also, the crispy cansi was so good. Thank you for this vlog chef and shootout to the owner of Sharyn's Cansi!!

Im not from Bacolod but i have lots of great memories...the best childhood memories ko lahat was the years we stayed in Bacolod for years. I studied in St Scholastica and my bros sa La Salle..the best memories...super bait ng mga tao, always smiling and food trips was amazing!!! Thanks Chef for the pasyal! Yes, we are known for our sweets pero our other dishes are so so so damn good too. Also, ka nami pamatian ang Ilonggo. Sige a, higop pa more. I'm living vicariously through you.
