We used to live right in front of their store. The line back then would take 15 to 20 mins because of the regulars. I can't even imagine how long the queue would take now that they've garnered more attention. Still the best choice for a homemade style fried chicken!

Natatandaan ko noong college pa ako kinakainan namin sa likod nang Lyceum sa Intramouros…palagi kong kinakain sa tanghalian ay combong pritong manok at monggo masarap ang luto sa carinderia palaging bago..noon pang 1997 yon…ngayon dito na ako nakatira sa Canada KFC lang ang bilihan nang pritong manok….itong sa inyo mukhang masarap ano….

Being a native of Texas I will admit that most Southerners are known for their hospitality and good food!! And fried chicken 🍗 is a Classic in the South!! I'm originally from the Philippines but now living in DFW since 1999 and yes Filipino fried chicken can definitely compete with southern style. It's good old South East Asian Soul food :)
