All units of the arm forces of the Philippines have their own bands. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, coast Guard and PNP( Phil. national Police) This is for their internal activities, like founding- Anniversaries Day, Dignitary Visitors and more… But they do also took part in community Activities like Fiestas,fund raising and other..

Even penal colonies such as DAPICOL in Davao prisoners have their own musical band that gets invited to special event in the community to entertain. In DAPICOL the group is called the blue boys.

here in the philippines theirs a competation of all men in uniform Polis! Army! AFP! Navy! etc, in a televission show its competation in singing, and we have also bands of different men in uniform.✌️🇵🇭

I chanced upon this group perform before a live audience at a shopping mall in the busy Cubao business district in Quezon City. And yes, they are real police officers with official badges, IDs and all. Cubao is only a kilometer away from Camp Crame, the headquarters of the Philippine National Police, and I guess their appearance was in support of the PNP's community relations program. I learned that the main vocalist is PSSgt Norman Wileman III.

Singing competition here in the ph is so hard even it is a amature singing contest is so hard to win..you have to be unique in rendition, techniques and very on point to all the notes..so high standards

In the Philippines armed forces and police officers organize their own musical band. Even penal colonies have their own band. I grew up in our farm with 30 workers and they play music every time they finish their dinner.
