The NHC has been doing their part, in fairness to them. But let's be honest, most of the youth would go to MOA instead of CCP or PICC. Most would rather save thousands of pesos for an upperbox ticket of a K-Pop concert than a half-priced or discounted tickets of cultural shows and concerts. It's a matter of preference tho and we can't force them to like something they're not used to. However, we, the older generation has a duty to impart values and influence to the youth. It's not gov't's sole duty to preserve our heritage. It has to be a collective effort. We too need to contribute in its preservation. *Tara sa PICC guys, after lockdown! 😄

I don't think it's said... it's just that through the passing of times, newer generations have thier own style of music that they can relate. But old songs are now considered classic and we are happy to hear it again at present, people becomes nostalgic and brings back memories of the good old days.
@rosarioconde79923 жыл бұрын
The reason other countries sing Filipino songs is because Filipino choirs have sung our songs across the world. That means we appreciate our OPM. Reason why other countries sing our songs: 1. in choir, a group has to sing a different/from another country 2. why not a Filipino song - they are usually uplifting and can be arranged for choirs with added texture.
@tsh95843 жыл бұрын

@quantumchase3 жыл бұрын
For me, the German arrangement captured the spirit of the song. The song speaks about how everything becomes troublesome and restless for one who starts falling in love. That's why the arrangement has to be fast and the way it is sung makes you go up and down the music scales. And the song said when the one's longing is granted in return then the feeling is heavenly. And so towards the end, the arrangement should be rushing to a climax.
@komunistaangmgadutertards70373 жыл бұрын
idiot..What arrangement your talking..? Theyre just singing it its already arrange by the philippine choir... The only difference is the coice of philippine choir is more higher and clean in singing that song..
@potatocultivator53093 жыл бұрын
Dude no need for the rush towards the end because of the modulation gives the climax you want. Listen to Philippine choirs singing they even put ritardando to enjoy the harmony. I am saying this as an arranger dude it is not all about lyrics can't you even hear the way the arranger put the harmonic tension up to the last bar of the song? There is a purpose for that.

In the early 1970’s, in the government schools, There were Choir Singing Contest In Elementary Level Contest Singing Contest Tagalog/English Versions from District to the National Level held in Manila, folk dances, too. Having been migrated to North America, the rest is history, such as the massive influx of tourists in the country and birth of social media. Wow, good job guys❤️💞💖. A famous Filipino kundiman song sung by foreigners 🇵🇭. They pronounced well the tagalog words.👍👍👍. I loved most the Korean group. There should have been a Filipino group who sang it, too. ❤️

All three sounded great in their own unique way and style. And just by their efforts alone in singing a song that's completely foreign to them, they all deserve an "A." But if I'd have to choose, I'd say Canada performed the best. They sang it so fresh, youthful, and joyful that they caught the essence of not only Philippine music, but also the country's cultural essence. I'd give Korea and Germany a close tie.

the fact that all of them can pronounce and sing well in tagalog, that's already enough proof that they are all great and their willingness to learn of the piece. 👏👏👏
