Daryl is one of the singers who really took time to watch reaction videos and shows appreciation by sending a message.. He and Katrina are the ones I usually see doing this and even tho I am not the one who created this video I feel humbles that someone as popular as them shows gratitude and appreciation and see the results.. Yes true. Title of the song is “My Heart”. I also watched Brian McKnight’s concert in Manila and when Kyla went to sing a duet with him, he just sat down and watched her. Before the concert he already mentioned he liked her voice. I think it was Martin Nievera who introduced Brian to her when he forwarded a video or something of Kyla’s rendition of Brian’s song Home

I have to admit...Filipinos are extremely talented. Asian countries try to compare themselves to Filipino singers but can barely keep up. Heck...I’d be envious too if I was them. Lol. You can throw anything at Filipinos and they take it and turn it into something astonishingly undeniably amazing. Filipino Pride!

First of all - LOL. You had fun. According to the video credits, Bobby Velasco did the musical arrangement but he's not in the video. The producer of this video and vocal arranger is Daryl - this being on his channel. :) Daryl and Kyla actually had a collab years back - on Kyla's channel. *'SECRET LOVE SONG'* . By far, you guys have the most authentic reaction and most reliable commentary on r n b and gospel music cuz this is your musical culture. Love that part near the end where Kyla turns toward the booth and mouths, "count me in". This is an unbelievable arrangement. Extraordinarily complex and musical without feeling overproduced. Well done!

Well, it's a breath of fresh air to read your post. :) Here's my response to someone in that vid's comment section who mocked that the cover had too many runs and that so and so did it better (btw, that was clickbait to me, didn't go to watch it): 'IMO, this is more of a compact portfolio. If this channel is Daryl's music portfolio, this cover is the synopsis/compact version of it. This and most probably his *Boyz II Men Medley* . It is efficient in the sense that if 'the-powers-that-be' in the music industry would only have time to look at a single piece that would exhibit all of the techniques that Daryl (and Kyla) are capable of - this is it. Besides, vocal coaches love this as it as it serves as a concise teaching tool for them. The non-linear approach is actually brilliant.'
