Food in the Philippines is something we didn't know much about before arriving. But one thing we know for sure is that Filipinos know how to cook! Perhaps because many Filipinos live or work abroad, when they return to the Philippines they bring some of that fantastic fusion with them.
Today we do a food tour video at a brand new place on Pacifico beach called Wantaw. They specialize in Izakaya style Japanese food and we heard from some friends that they had vegan options too.
We were blown away by this restaurant! The freshness and flavour of the food was out of this world, and the location and the total price was unbelievable. Just watch the video to see.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.
