On the parent income section they ask how much did the parent earn from work, do they want us to provide the annual or monthly earnings?

@@ghprepscholar Hi, am lauretta from Nigeria. In my parents information, I only know my mum birthday, my dad did not attend primary school and he was born during the Biafra war. He does not know his birthdate ,he only knows the month and the year, should I just put any no as the birth date.

@@lawonyinye7056 You can try and make a very good estimate there. It does not really matter as much for it to be 100% accurate.

You might need to upload that non-tax filers form (That is if you are claiming your parents are not required to file tax returns at the end of the year)

If you filled with your parents information and you mentioned they are the ones who are funding your education then you should put in your parents' statements but if you want to put in other people, still put in your parents information but there is a section in CSS and ISFAA which gives you a chance to indicate how much you think you can afford and which parties will be responsible for your cost of college education. Then you can put the other person's info there.

You should submit the css profile when you submit your college application. Most colleges have their css profile deadlines close to the application submission deadline.

If you are done with the HND degree you can select 'not in school' option

What if you applied both the university and CSS through common app and u get an email your CSS waiver had been granted with a code attached ....is the code suppose to be entered somewhere please???

the visa type part i need help .A school said to apply for i-20 visa does that mean to choose i-20 as my visa type or it is compulsory to choose f-1

There is no visa category called I-20. However you do need an I-20 to usually apply for and secure your f-1 visa

Hello, what if i got admission for graduate studies should i chose 12th grade or first year graduate student? And also in adding the school info. should i insert first year undergrad student or first year graduate student?

Unless I am misunderstanding your question, if you got admission for graduate studies and you are applying for aid for that graduate studies then you should select you are first year graduate student under the section of education status for next academic year. If it is about current education status then you should put exactly where you are which is probably done with undergrad or final year undergrad depending on your case.
