Fillinger Script | Adobe Illustrator

Hi... In this video, I'll show you how to use Fillinger Script in Adobe Illustrator.
This script was created by Jongware and modified by Alexander Ladygin

with this script, you can distribute objects within another object. So this can save you time instead of doing it manually.

How do you create a more dense pattern? I would like closer together shapes and more of them, that can even overlap.

Nothing happens for me after I run the script. The dialog box shows up but nothing changes after I click "OK"

Thank you for you time and care. I have a problem with when a try to exctute the filinger script. It gives a notification that "the filling object should be a pathitem or a compaundpathitem" ?

Make sure filling objects is compound path, if you have complex objects, make sure turn it to compound path first (ctrl 8). Some objects like letter need to ungroup after you expand it

I am trying to use that script with a text "C" after coverting text to path when I am trying to fill with this script it is showing a alert "The filling Object must be Pathitem or CompoundPathitem [Groupitem]. What i am doing wrong please help?

im having the problem where its filling in the wrong shape, i have the shape i want filled sent to the back and have the setting chosen for that but it still does one of the shapes in the middle of the layers

I use two scripts for this, first filinger to populate the container, then I use replace item to change it with my preferred vector. Don't forget to unclick 'fit object' before! Good luck!

This script could have been my salvation. I followed the tutorial to the letter but every test I do I get the message "The filling Object must be Pathitem or CompoundPathitem (Groupitem)" I read several similar comments, has anyone found/knows a solution? Thank you

Ok, I got it to work, but not from the download. The download did not work. I copied the script, pasted it into a text document, saved the document, renamed the document, and changed the extension to the .jsx. Then placed it in the scipts folder as normal and boom it worked.

Create a text "a", turn the text to object (create outline), some font need to Ungroup after create outline, then you can use the script
