@@kaytisouthall4869 if a rare scenerio arises that you need to communicate with the visually impaired (like there is no one else around to speak to like when travelling, or a controlled environment/professional/business space where there will be tools or a translator present. Then yeah, I can see how a universal sign language being taught may not hold up. One will have to exist first.

The English speaking world uses ASL which stands for American Sign Language. Other languages have diff sign language

@@S.Kaur.13 the universal languages of the world are English and French. Problem is that not everyone agrees and not everyone is taught. English was chosen because it's made from bits of other languages and French was chosen because it's supposedly an easy language to learn. That's why Olympic games always has English, French, and the native language of the country it's held in. A universal sign language would be just as problematic as a normal universal language.
