2023 we running LEAN!
I'm in the process of narrowing down on my film photography camera collection and I want to show you what I'll be using this year. This is, however, my "to-go" kit; I have another setup I'll show another time. This gear consists of Leica goodies with the m6 and other cameras like Hasselblad and Widelux.

You should consider the Leica wide angle finder. Nice setup. I am thinking of the M-A for film too.

Xpan for sure ! The panon needs objects to stay still , basic scanner ! Nice but has its quirks . Horizon is cheaper does the same thing .

Probably need to invest in the leica universal 16-28 viewfinder. Changing out viewfinders everytime you have to switch focals kinda defeats the purpose of having a zoom lens. Or better yet, switch to a 0.58x M6 . Had one and stupidly sold it.

I looked into it, and although, it would save me time, it's way too big and pricey for what it is. I'm totally fine with switching viewfinders with focal lengths because I'm not actually zooming on the same shot anyways

Maybe I'll have to talk about this with my psychiatrist, but I'm pretty fed up with leicas to the point I get the shakes and foam at the mouth. Yes I'm way too poor to have one, but seriously every single photographer with a channel got at least two.

Ngl, I kind of felt that way too, up until I got to shoot a roll with one last week. Does it shoot the same images as the f3, yeah, but the experience was fun. Construction is amazing as everyone says it is, advancing the film is satisfying as hell, and shutter sound is nice too. Focusing a rangefinder for the first time was tricky, though… but I can confidently say that I get it now. I see why people admire the camera. Can I afford it? Nah, but I see why people list for it. Is it worth the money? Only if you can afford it comfortably. Hope you get the opportunity someday to shoot a roll through an m6.
