Kodak Aero Infrared Ektachrome was used in Viet Nam to find camouflaged articles. It was used in 9x9 inch and 10x20 inch cameras. I used miles of the stuff in Nam. It came in 9.5inch and 100ft rolls. Note: Once you process this film in (then) E-3 chemistry you could not use regular Ektachrome in the chemicals.

Did Jason drink enough mountain dew that the "diabetic Foundation" gave their funds to Kodak to bring back Aerochrome? 🙈 Well, since it's in quotes, it's probably something else. Haven't watched it yet. Scanning film and watching the news on a dark and cold autumn evening. Life's good 😎

Small correction; Crystal sync in motion picture cameras is not for film gate steadiness as mentioned it’s for motor speed steadiness, allowing for sync sound.

Hey Nico, thanks for the news. Always happy to see a new bulletin. A small nerdy correction regarding the Okto35. Crystal sync is for precise timing of motion picture cameras (e.g. precisely 25fps or 29.97fps or whatever), not for precise frame registration (frame alignment). The Okto35 has pretty impressive registration but in the latest video he shows the results before and after stabilising the footage in post.

Thank you for noting the surprisingly reasonable price of Polaroid 8x10. Also, they give 10 frames still, for those who won't let go of the 8 frame packs thing. :)

I have considered that if 4x5 isn't enough for me and I move to try and go for 8x10 Stenopeika has always been the brand I have my eyes on. So far my Toyoview 46Gii is more than enough, but perhaps someday I will move up to 8x10, especially so I can use 6x17 120 backs.

Hey Nico! Thank you for reporting on modified!! Such a big fan of your channel, its surreal to see something i made on here. Im going to have a video on my channel discussing best practices with the film at 2pm pst. This will be a more of an in-depth look on the film. This is definitely a Aerochrome "inspired" film. It is not infared color. Just for fun the NASCAR modified division is still alive and well i just didnt want to get into that in the commercial. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Happy to share, hope you can continue with the Modified Film for a long time. People will probably enjoy it a lot, even if its not real infrared film, people have enjoyed Lomopurple.

@@NicosPhotographyShow Yea. Not a big deal. I'm disappointed by the Aerochrome news but that's nothing you can do something about. I read Aerochrome and I get excited. I hope this film will be available worldwide and we'll be able to try it. But with editing required we could just edit our normal photos (I don't remember but it was something about switching red and blue channels or something) to look like fake Aerochrome which makes this film pretty useless. We have to wait and see how it looks.

Ilfochrome was done in Switzerland, sadly the facilities no longer are owned by any Ilford. Its part of Adox now.

I was about to do the AGO film processor....BUT....it isn't programmed for ECN-2 processing, which is what I need for my Kodak Vision film....shooting that for reasonably priced color 35mm film.

Hi Nico, if you edit on Premiere Pro you know you can directly make your video segmented for KZfaq with the markers on your timeline ? Because of the absence of segments on your videos I have stoped watching your news a few months ago. I grew weary of waiting for the countless "new M mount lens" I didn't care about to pass to get to the interesting stuffs. Now I just read on the description what might catch my interest and then click on the link you provide - so thanks for that curation :). And I'm sure I'm not the only one... The rest of the channel is fine and I enjoy watching it.

Ago processor is from Estonia, and Ago is a common Estonian male first name. It is not English, and should not be pronounced like "eigou". Read it as it is written.

I come and go saying it right or not. Its hard to release a product with such a name when most will mispronounce it. Still a cool device and hope it keeps improving and selling.
