I got to say it's pretty awesome how she incorporated so much of the past and her family into the dance at 0:10 this is reminiscent of her get swung by lumpy addams in the original movie at 0:32 this is obviously influenced by thing at 0:52 this obviously a callback to lurch on the organ at 0:56 it the original shuffle done in the show and around 1:05 is pure morticia from the addams family values

I remember hearing the Cramps when I bought my skateboard in 1986 at a Skateboard shop in Seattle on Denny Way called “Fallout”. I was blown away when I was watching this show and hearing them again. Go Wednesday!!!

I'm a 50 year old Texan that grew up with an extreme obsession with dark and rebellious subcultures. This eventually led me to Black Metal at the top of my favorite genres list, but I was into anything that had some quality to it, and seemed to shun the social norms. This included things like 80s goth rock, punk and hardcore punk, and some things that just couldn't be put in a genre box. In high school, when some situation required me to state my full name, there was always at least one kid that would interrupt me before I could state my last name by shouting out "Addams". Because of that history, this scene delighted me for a few reasons...the first being that as soon as the first chord of Goo Goo Muck played, I perked up, and was surprised to be hearing The Cramps on a mainstream TV show (R.I.P. Lux Interior). Another thing that caught my attention was noticing the strong influence of Souxie from Souxie And The Banshees on Wednesday's now famous dance in this scene. FB

I remember back in 2016 I was in high school and fellow students found out I used to go to rockabilly gigs, 1950's horror movies underground cinemas and they would either laugh at me and my taste or would treat me different for enjoying that stuff.
