Director Gregg Araki spoke with FilmCatcher at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival about the original impetus behind his 1992 buddy-movie-gone-bad, the heady social and political context it hearkens back to, and the ways in which his movies as a whole do and don't fit within the "queer cinema" rubric.

I really wish Nowhere was available on dvd. Gregg, if you're reading this, please put out a Nowhere dvd. I'm sure the Criterion Collection would love to help
