Slightly different style of filming location video than I usually do . Kept this one more as a tour format versus a detailed frame by frame focusing on one subject . I find it interesting how close so many of my favorite movies are to each other and thought I’d share for those interested in doing it on their own or just watching from home .

As the owner of 1705 Bushnell for many years including 1984 and 1985 I would like you to know that most of the interior shots of Lorraine’s house, including the dinner, were shot inside both times time Back to the Future 1 was filmed. Also some commercials were made there and a movie made for tv, called Solitary Man was made there in 1979.

I never knew how Gorgeous Pasadena was. I went drove through the neighborhoods to get to The Huntington Library and OMG it was like stepping back in time to Old Hollywood and visiting all the stars homes...Absolutely Gorgeous place

The studios of the 30s and 40s filmed in the area even way back then. My grandpa was working in films and came over from the UK to do so. It was a popular area.

When I lived in CA for a year few years ago, I'd love to visit South Pasadena...my favorite was seeing the Halloween, Step by Step, Teen Wolf, and Back to the Future areas in person. I had shivers down my spine. Beautiful area too.

Great episode Adam. I grew up on Bushnell, on the other side of Huntington drive. As a kid in the 70's we would ride our bikes up to those areas and watch the filming going on. After Halloween came out, the Meyers house was still located up the street before the city purchased it and moved it to its current location. It was abandoned and boarded up for a number of years. We would ride our bikes up there at night and lurk around in the house. Super creepy. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.🤙

Thank you . In all honestly this one was very simple and did not require any simply because I know the area so well . Kept it vague and simple and more tour oriented versus the detailed ones I usually do . I really appreciate the kind words tho , they mean a lot

The exterior of the Rialto was also used in one of my favorite scenes in Horror history. In a dream sequence from Nightmare 4, when Alice is sucked from her seat into the cinema screen.

@@TheDailyWoo Dodgers broadcaster Joe Davis lives in South Pasadena and he said they picked that city to live in with his wife because it reminded him of the Midwest since he's from Michigan. It's a beautiful town.

No tear downs with new developments. Highly recommend Netflix - Movies That Made Us series for anyone who wants to know the behind the scenes stories for Back to the Future, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing and more. The actor from thirty something was Timothy Busfield who was also in the 80s comedy Revenge of the Nerds..( Poindexter)..I was born in 64..but 80s was my favorite decade as well..love BTTF and the John Hughes films

Hi Adam awesome vlog at the Gamble house. I toured the lovely Gamble house years ago with my artist friend. She is passed away. Great memories of touring a unique home, wearing the shoe covers. 👍🏻😀South Pasadena have beautiful homes for great film locations. 👍🏻

my parents lived in so pas for mayve 30 years.. i lived in the apartments that were on the other side of the train going by when you were looking at the myers house- in the early 90s- i lived above an antique shop. i had NO idea about these filming locations such as the myers house OR pretty in pink. i only knew about pee wee. I would have loved all of this since i walked these streets everyday! always hung out at fair oaks pharmacy and took the bus on the corner of mission and fair oaks to pasadena. so cool!

I was born 1986 so I was born in the 80s and it was amazing to grow up in the 80s and movies and music and tv shows see Mary Kate and Ashley are same age as me so I grew up watching them on full house. So thank you for showing these to us :) and scream is my favorite 80s movie and can’t wait for scream 5 next year.

I had a boyfriend who lives or maybe now doesn’t in South Pas right there on Meridian Ave about a mile away from Mission St where the Myers house now is. He took me all around South Pas and showed me all sorts of filming locations…this was quite a few years ago though. This vlog takes me back! Lol

I grew up in South Pasadena. I was overseas in the Navy when they filmed Halloween and the first time I saw it I thought it looked familiar. Turns out I was then living two doors down from one of the main locations. There are tons of tv locations and plenty of commercials filmed there, too. Pasadena, South Pasadena, the whole are gets a lot of filming. Out of state visitors seem to always like seeing locations from their shows.

Great video as always. I lived in Temple City, but my Dad worked in South Pasadena. His job was right by the railroad tracks..When he worked there they were filming Silver Streak. He'd eat lunch outside and watch them work on the film.

S Pasadena is such a nice town. This from a real estate appraiser. Very nice, very chill video. Just what I needed. Fletcher was the name of my recently deceased beagle. He was a truly good boy. Those homes all have 2 commas in their values.

You were not far away from the Van Halen family home too. There’s a liquor store nearby where Alex and Ed made a van halen logo in cement right on the kirb. It’s still there all these years later. Great video Adam …Jam packed as always

Thank you for filming, editing and sharing this. When I have clients and patients in Pasadena I always have lunch at the Heirloom Cafe, just across the street. When eating outside I would always see people in black dresses or in make up taking pics in front of that old house. I never knew that was the house that they used in the movie. When you are there again, try the Heirloom Cafe, its a bakery but have great breakfast and lunch meals.

I also grew up in the 80’s and the 70’s as well. I was born in 1969 and I was 15 years of age, a freshman in high school, and a licensed driver and “Back to The Future” was one of the first movies that I drove myself to go and see!!!

Last week, I had a 4 day ✈️ FA trip and I ended up on 3 LAX airport trips. One lag over night in Orange 🍊 County and Fresno, California. The weather was hot, but perfect and in the swimming pool. My tan hit in 1 day in California! Yes, to Orange County!!!! 👏🏼👍👏🏼

I lived in South Pas and enjoyed my daily walks with my dog. Many filming locations, cute restaurants, cafes and just beautiful neighborhoods. I think Pasadena is highly underrated as the apartments are a bit cheaper than many other cities in Los Angeles.

Spent many a night at the Rialto while in college (1976-1981) seeing classic films … it was a very popular revival house back then, screened Rocky Horror every Saturday night at 11pm if memory serves, had great popcorn and Celestial Seasonings teas … good times 🙂👍🏼

Yes the TV show family which took place between 1975 and 1980 was also took place in pasadena but the house is actually in South Pasadena on the TV show they say their address is 1230 Holland street pasadena California but in reality The house's address is 1230 Milan street South Pasadena California... About 2 years ago in 2020 the house went up for sale and I think it's sold for somewhere around 4 million dollars Interestingly enough Meredith Baxter Bernie played the oldest daughter in the family Gary Frank played the middle son and Kristy mcnickel play the youngest daughter Meredith Baxter Bernie actually grew up in South Pasadena and her mother was Whitney Blake who was the mother in the TV show Hazel and when she married her 3rd husband who was in TV production and she told him about her life he based the TV show one day at a time ...on Whitney life ... And if that isn't enough claims to fame Cissy houston ...Whitney Houston's mother liked the name whitney From watching Hazel and named her daughter Whitney Houston after Whitney Blake
