The fruit you were eating is called Love Apple is often known as wax apples, Safed Jamun, Jamaican Apple, Bell Fruit, Jamrul or Amrool ( in Hindi). We get this in Maharashtra, btw you are looking beautiful.

The temple and its surroundings look beautiful. The city looks more like an Indian type. Burma was famous for its teak wood because it has a large area of it. Furniture made from them could last for many many years and were preserved as antiques. Happy travelling n TC 👏👏👌👍🌹☺️

There is a Durga Mata mandir at central part of the city. It is 100+ years old and continuing Bengali culture. A lot of Bengali famous literate people spent their life at Burma before 1947.
