There is no explaining this kid's unbelievable performance. It's as if Elvis himself had stepped into his body. Honestly the whole performance by Austin Butler gave me goosebumps. Watching him on that screen felt surreal. I have never seen an actor so fully embody the spirit of the character he was portraying. Words to explain this kid's portrayal of Elvis are inadequate. Truly astonishing.

I agree He was amazing! AMAZING! I have to say that last year Andrew Garfield did the same thing for Jonathan Larson. He WAS Larson. The scenes where Butler is singing are amazing and Oscar-worthy! I will watch it again fast-forwarding to the rest....!

Elvis è sempre stato sfruttato da tutti ma mai compreso ed amato veramente tranne i suoi genitori. Qsta volta idem....solo business ed un ennesimo tentativo di imitarlo. Tentativo fallito. Chi conosce bene ed ama Elvis non può assolutamente apprezzare un film così.....trucco pessimo....canzoni pessime cantate da Austin......proprio un flop. Che poi sia piaciuto a molti non vuol dire niente.....anzi....vuol solo ribadire che non è mai stato compreso a fondo.

Austin Butler is not just exceptional.... He's miraculous...!!!! There's NO WAY that ANYONE could have played this part but him..,. And then there's Austin himself!!!!! What a great guy ... So down to earth. WoW. WoW. WoW!!!! Now I know why Lisa Marie needed 5 days just to wrap her head around this performance. Thank God she got to see this day before her precious life ended so tragically....... 😌😌💯💕🙌💔💔

This was a phenomenal movie! Always enjoy the behind the scenes portions. Austin did the most fantastic job on Elvis. Love his work ethic and commitment to "Getting it Right"~ Everyone had a combined effort in this film. Everyone was so good in this movie. Thanks to Baz and all involved in making this movie. I'm hopeful for Academy Awards for this film and Austin! 🥰💗

I just want to point out, and you can find it on many places when they talk about the Elvismovie, that Austin worked 3 years to preparation on being the best Elvis possible, he got $700.000 , a little mistake, but Mr. Tom Hanks got $ 8.000.000, just for saying sentences during the movie, he got so much only for being Thee Tom Hanks, he did not have to work hard, and Austin worked till he dropped. He was already glad he had the part... But my heart breaks, that kid so little paid compared to Tom. It's just my opinion. I just can't handle unfairness... but who am I. Sorry if it disturbed you. All the best.

I’ve got to admit I was hesitant on watching this movie as I have seen a lot of biopics based on the legend that is the king only to be let down by the actor’s performance. However I had promised to take my mum to see this and I’m so glad I did. BEST MOVIE OF 2022 BY FAR. Well done Austin for your golden globe. A truly deserved win in my opinion ❤️

Baz is something. Aint no tellin' how many times I'll watch this extraordinary film. Cried at least 10 times. I loved the real Elvis so much. He was like a drug. I'd have a miserable work shift and one song could instantly change my state of mind. Austin was amazing, especially in the closet. I was there grieving the loss of all our mothers. OMG--Tom Hanks!

I loved Elvis so much when I was a kid (14, the same age as Priscilla). I'm too old for this but I'm falling in love with Austin as Elvis; he's bringing back so much of that same feeling. I don't quite know what he is going to do after this incredible performance, but I hope he wins all the awards and has a long and successful career. Thank you, Austin.

This performance by Austin makes me miss elvis so much. I see Elvis face now and I just smile. Austin has got what it takes to be a superstar. But maybe being a really great actor is enough. When I think about it, there hasn't been another Elvis, as a Southerner, we really felt like he was one of us through and through, no one else has managed to totally bring tunes to life like Elvis did. Elvis was ripping things all to pieces and he knew it, when I think about it, he was the life-breath of Rock-n-roll, and though there have been extreme greats, like Eddie Van Halen, in his wake, no one has managed to be quite as Electrifying as Elvis was.

Well said! Like you, I grew up in a family of devoted Elvis fans. My dad played all the Elvis albums for me, and sang his songs to me, from the time I was born. He he taught me how to slow dance for my first HS dance to I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. My parents got me to sit and watch every Elvis movie with them when they came on broadcast TV (usually Sunday afternoons). I’ve seen most of the Elvis movie performances by various actors and thought Kurt Russell’s would forever be the gold standard. Austin Butler proved my thinking wrong. What a revelation! I was riveted and mesmerized by AB every second he was on the screen. It didn’t take long for me to forget I was watching an actor (and not Elvis). Spectacular performance! He so deserves to win the Oscar. 🤞

My 6th grade math teacher would only allow Elvis music in her room, and if we were to have a movie day, it was only an Elvis movie and as six graders We never really understood as to why we had to listen to his music and watch his movies, but she would always tell us how just spontaneous and soulful this man was. I looked deeper into him, and I grew a spot in my heart for his music and his movies. I’ve became a fan of him so when I heard that they were making a movie, I was pretty excited, I knew enough that I would be intrigued by what they would create. The film was absolutely phenomenal. Austin Bulter played that role like it was his life. His performance was just Amazing. I can’t express the chills that I got from this movie and I know as a young adult most of my peers wouldn’t really look into listening to Elvis, but this man was just so raw and talented. For Austin Butler to go into this film and just blow it out the park hit a home run. It was just .. Its leaving me speechless.

I can't agree more. Even my 14 year old daughter has watched it over 80 times and knows all the words. I know 14.. The whole film and Austin blows all other films out of the park. Best film I've ever seen and I love crashing in on my daughter while she's watching it. Although she kicks me out as she doesn't like me watching her speak the words. Magical movie 🙏💖

I watched this film last weekend and just can not get it out of my head. I definitely have a new found appreciation for Elvis as an artist and subversive figure, something that is probably overlooked due to his Vegas legacy and that endearing cliche, which is unfortunate, because he was obviously so much more. And Austin Butler...is just...no words. So brilliant. So talented. And so so sexy as Elvis. He pulled it off. That first scene where the women go wild. It seems so real, it makes you feel like you were right there in that moment, you feel that magnetic pull and effect Elvis had on people. The only weak point for me is Tom Hanks. Although, I usually love him. His performance just felt like it belonged in another film. And not wanting to end on a negative note, the music blew me away. I was literally dancing in my seat, so you can really really tell that these people are legit and accomplished musicians. The music held it all together and for me was a huge part of the narrative, so well done Baz! Mission accomplished.

From the first moment of the movie, I was hooked. It felt like I was watching Elvis, going thru the ups and downs of his life with him. I watched elvis in his movies, bought his records, saw the special and then we also saw him in Vegas! I know what elvis looked and sounded like. Baz and Austin created a new face, a handsome face, not Austin's face but closer to elvis face. They put in clips of real elvis to prove how close Austin came to real elvis. When we left the theater I was really shocked and said I've got to go back and see this again! I looked on KZfaq for Austin Butler and realized I knew him from nick at nite and icarley, all the teen shows my grandchildren watched ten years ago. Yes Austin was beautiful back then, too.

This masterpiece made me travel to 8 cinemas to watch it from july to september. Baz is a stunning director that made me fell in love with all his characters and rediscover Elvis in many different lights and shades. Please release the 4 -hour-version!!

This movie is the best that I have ever seen. Austin Butler was phenomenal. The film and the actors should have walked away with every award available including the Oscars. They were so robbed. I have watched this movie so many times and am always amazed at the talent involved. It never gets tired. Love it, love it, love it.

There’s definitely a difference between more of a “fun gospel” experience and more of a boring Baptist-type hymnal experience. I’ve had both. The first time I had a really fun experience was so awesome; I had no idea I could have fun with the music instead of wanting to throw a hymnal at somebody in church as a kid.

By no means was it perfect,to you people that didn't watch kirt Russell as elvis, check him out and imagine him young again,that was close to Elvis I've ever seen in a movie.
