A really beautiful story of faith, hope and love. "Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5,6 demonstrated in this lovely story. Isaiah 60:22 "At the right time I, the Lord, will make it happen."

People has to realize that God first, then family; his family needed him more than military and his men, there is more options than that; although someone wants to serve country, your family at home is FIRST RESPONSIBILITY.. I love this film and I love horses . The only thing that confused me is that the dad was killed in action he should have got compensation for his family . It’s usually 100 thousand dollars at least . Could anyone confirm that for me ?

King James Version uses charity, as does the other verses in this chapter. Greek translates 'much benevolence'. I like knowing the original languages in that charity here carries even more of a selfLESSness; doing with no thought of it returning, nor being loved in return. Just as the word perfect in our English seems unattainable but in Biblical languages it is wonderful because it means 'to be complete' which is attainable, as in we are complete in Christ Jesus.

...your dad is still with us...dat is inderdaad niet bijbels. Soms hoor ik mensen die niets met het christelijke geloof hebben dat ook zeggen. Door de bijbel te lezen, maar ook achtergrondstudie, weten we dat gelovigen "bij de Heer zijn", vermoedelijk de derde hemel, terwijl ongelovigen worden ondergebracht in het Gehenna. Een goede reden onze knieën voor Hem te buigen en ontzag te hebben voor Degene die contole houdt over leven en dood wanneer wij het lootje erbij neerleggen.

Can any one say their movie has Christian content! Have you ever wandered where & who changed the name of Children to kid. A name of a young "goat"! This movie isn’t what it’s supposed to be. Besides the fact that there’s commercials every five minutes on the dot, makes it very distracting and not worth watching. A movie on television doesn’t even have this many commercial breaks. Terrible terrible thing to have to go through all these commercials, and then you lose sight of what this is actually about. Which, by the way, doesn’t appear to be God they use the word a lot, but it’s not. It’s more New Age than anything else.
