Would love to see the same sort of test with the ESYBOX Mini, I wonder if this one is a bit too much for my needs (4 bathrooms + 1 kitchen tap + dishwasher + washing machine @ 3 bar)

Hi, we have done the same teat with the mini and was a bit disappointed. It should be released next week. For the same price as the mini you can get a hms1500 that got very close to the big esybox in performance and beat it in power consumption. @@kadher_mh It is a bit louder but it is the closest to it that we have found. It is closer to the dab than to most other pumps.

Like any device with a lot of electronics, it is very susceptible in regions with electrical voltage variations, even slight ones, and sudden power outages. It must have a voltage regulator nearby. Mine, purchased recently, failed after a month and a half and I am still waiting for the replacement promised by DAB and its distributor. The protections for voltage changes that the device includes are not sufficient. In the rest, it fulfills what was promised.

Hi we're looking for a whole house pump for 5 bathrooms I was wondering how this might compare to the HMS1500 in your opinion?

Hi, Both are very good. The Esybox is quieter but it can't get much use out of a pressurized buffer tank so it always cycles. I went for the HMS1500 specifically because I had a 150L buffer tank and with it i could dramatically reduce the pumps cycling. If you haven't got things that frequently will pull a small amount of water, like for example a fridge connected to the mains with an icemaker or a Under Counter RO System. Then i would go for the Esybox, if you do have them then i would go for the HMS1500 with a buffer tank.

@@FilterShopZa If I used a 3rd party service where you post to ZA and they forward it on would that work? I guess my only concern would be parts in the future.. We're replacing a grundfos and already have a 100L pressure tank

This is not the best pump on the market. It is the most expensive and breaks easily when installed incorrectly which is 99% of the time due to diy online sales and the customer not wanting to pay for a professional installer. To service this unit is also a nightmare. It is only made for clean water. Rather spend the extra money on an DAB Active Driver 1.0 M/T with a DAB K35/100 T or DAB K45/50 T. Once again, get a professional installer for this kind of setup.
