Seriously, how hard is it to put rubbish in the bin? Then put out for council. That's the part that annoys me the most, rubbish just thrown on the floor or laying about.

Probably suffering from major depression. People living in filthy conditions usually have a mental health issue. I always wonder what happens after the cleaners have done their job. Unless the mental health issues are addressed, it's highly likely the same trash and filth problems may return.

@@terriw919fyi Did a hoard & squalor clean job. Took near 2 hrs to wash dishes & clean benches. 20+ Paper shopping bags all over the floor with other trash. While we were busy they were in a room smoking weed. Someone came back with groceries & started throwing the shopping bags on the newly cleaned floor, keen to have a cook up since they had clean plates. 2 weeks of plates. Not too depressed to cook, eat, shop, smoke drugs etc but rinsing a plate was depressing I guess. Trying to clean a plate with 2 week old baked on cheese depressed me.

Where is their PPE? Good grief, I can't imagine the viruses, bacteria, mold, and any other infectious diseases they are working around. This is a deadly career, mask up!

... and don't forget what we learned since 2020 -- any old 'face rag' is more than adequate to 'stay safe' no matter the contaminent - no need for PPE proven by science since we now must Trust the Experts(tm) and Follow the Science(tm)!

Ok, my first thought with Christine…I have been a full time caregiver for the last 10 years. My house has never, ever looked anywhere near that bad. My husband passed on Dec 7th, the end of a long journey that started with my mum, then dad and finally my husband. This is know excuse! Maxine needed to use canned air on the ship.

Great job to all cleaners. Its sad that people let their homes get like this through physical or mental health problems. It's a shame no one can help them sooner before it gets to this stage.

To remove the grease from a stove I use ovencleaner, cover it with plastic foil and let it sit for 24 hours! Works perfectly!❤ And for to remove dust from tiny things different brushes or an old toothbrush are really helpful😊

I never understood why some people are unable to throw away trash ? I have a lot of stuff, but I put trash outside in the bin ASAP, I could never put anything on the floor. There are really different types of hoarders...interesting videos... ❤❤ To those cleaners

The sad thing is, these places will probably go right back to looking tthe way they did before the clean. It's great they cleaned these places up, but I doubt the behavior that got them there in the first place will change.

I saw one cleaning show where the woman sprayed the top of the stove with oven cleaner then covered it all with plastic wrap to set for hours.
