Despite first appearances, steel fabricator Dion truly loves his 2008 MK7 Ford Transit. His van is a genuine workhorse, ferrying Dion and his welding kit to and from clients. He spends several hours a day in the van - eating and drinking on the go (steak pie, anyone?), leaving the cab covered in takeaway wrappers and a mystery liquid… Don the hazmat suits - it's one for the Top Gear Clean Team.

As a detailer myself, I always find car cleaning supplies in the dirtiest vehicles. I guess they planned to clean and gave up when they saw how daunting it can be.

@@fanaticjay3825 while I love Jeremy Clarkson, and want him back with top gear, I feel like getting fired was a reasonable response to him assaulting a producer. (Unless the producer provoked him, it depends on the context of the assault). Plus from what I heard he wasn’t the greatest guy to be around. His value to the BBC can only get him so far.

Okay...serious talk. I would NEVER have thought about using a paintbrush to get into the corners and crevices while power washing. Excellent idea! Also, I've always been impressed at people who are skilled at a job others either look down on or are too afraid to tackle. Artisans are found in every profession.

Hi GUYS Love these kind of videos cars vans like.. My van is same model van but last of 2014 plate before new shape.. Very clean really.. it has a little rubbish in it.. The back of the van is used as garden shed but I use it for occasional courier work. My preferred aim with my van is The drivers seat and driver side but clean over all.. Engine bay and detailed.. All four wheels id like painted factory condition.. Deep clean and polish. The underside of my van is in nice condition bar road dirt.. The rear of the van is general clean.. I guess How much and where about's are you in wales ..? Oh Im tim

@@PhillipParr that's exactly my point 8 hours to just wash the paint work. 8 hours to clean the interior and put a bit of silicone gloss on. Terrible work rate.

What would be the point of it? The paint on it is trashed, covered in primer etc. Plus, they spent the time focusing on dirt removal. That's easily 2 full days work if you're on your own

Right how on the earth is the VAN DIRTY This van is clean there is no dirt marks on the rims fender or wheel arch,door I have seen vans were the rims are completely black in Greece gunk and dirt and that just on the rims if TOP GEAR decided they are a cleaning detailer come and clean my vans And I will bet them £100 pounds they will not get it cleaned

Last week's video was alright, this went over-the-top... it's starting to look like pimp my ride when the guys whose car is being customized deliberately made there cars to look terrible.... like the new series without the exaggeration
