The way you teach, and explain. Top class. If I could, i would pay an arm and a leg to have you as my tutor. You simplify things, i finally understand these concepts. You are a lifesaver. Thank you so so much. I hope i am one day able to teach like, the world needs people like you. How i wish my lecturers would teach like this, instead of reading directly form powerpoint slides.

The capital structure (Bond, PS and CS) of the RST company is as under: 1) Br. 200 per bond, 10% coupon rate, 5% floatation cost, 10-year maturity, quoted at 90% 2) Br. 100 per preference share, 4% coupon rate, 3% floatation cost; issued at br. 110 per share 3) Equity shares has br. 5 floatation cost, the next year’s expected dividend is br. 5 with annual growth of 7%; issued at br. 40 per share. 4) Corporate tax rate is 20% Required: WACC by using market value weights

Great video - thank you! Just on the CAPM example - you did 4+1.2*(10-4) but wouldn't the bracket just be 10, given that 10 is the MRP? Do let me know if I've misinterpreted anything.

Question about your CAPM example. Shouldn't the Rf=0.04 and Market Risk premium=0.10 either way you end up with rE=16% or 0.16. I just was curious if it truly doesn't matter between calculating decimal or percent form.

.cost of debt is a real cost to the company which can be seen on the income statement . Is Cost of equity a cost to a company if they do not pay owners?
