Spencer Dinwiddie knocked down a three from the right wing as time expired in regulation to lift the Dallas Mavericks over the Brooklyn Nets, 113-111. Luka Doncic led all scorers with 37 PTS, 9 REB and 9 AST for the Mavericks, while Dinwiddie added 22 PTS in the victory. Kevin Durant tallied 23 PTS, 6 REB and 10 AST for the Nets in the losing effort. The Mavericks improve to 43-26 on the season, while the Nets fall to 36-34.

The patience someone needs to not jack up a shot, wait until the help defense come then pass instead, that's what Luka has showed today and the game against Boston. Earlier in the season, he would no doubt take the last shot because he can make it, but now he knows he has someone there who can really close it out too.

Lebron no longer can do this effectively. Too worried about being upstate, he'll take a bad shot just to keep somebody else from shining. He will; only pass to Melo or Reeves. Reeves is too young to think he's the guy and Melo is Lebron's buddy. Everyone else is not getting that shot, ESPECIALLY AD...Since hitting that game-winner against Denver in the playoffs 2 years ago.

Literally twice in this video DFS stopped KD from scoring twice by himself and was making it tough for him to get his hands on the ball in the first place. Although I'm a Bucks fan, two things i like about the Mavs: 1) they trusted Luka and gave him the keys to the car and how can you not like that kid?! He balls out, he's clutch, talks trash AND keeps improving! 2) the media tried to run with the narrative that Dinwiddie was a locker room disruptor, it turns out it was just that the Wizards are still a mediocre franchise!

Wasn't fan of trade but in short run its good enough to get them out of first round but going to take two legit stars to make some noise and get to finals. Dirk and lebron only Stars I noticed that carried average squads of roll players for years and managed to win playoff series. Every one else no playoffs are first round knock out.

When I saw Dimwiddie cry after Kobe's death, I knew he was something. Been following him ever since. He was always in the shadows but starting to make his mark as a starting PG of good teams. Wish him all the best. Want him to go far in his career. Real talent. Real baller. High IQ. Most importantly, HE HAS HEART. Not many great or good players have heart. Real class of a player.

KD was clutch and still dropped 20+ on an off night while he got double teamed the whole game from half court, and the knicks are decent plus KD was alone vs nyk so shut your mouth. Also Luka only had like 36.

BKN was on a second night of back to back, with multiple players out. This was suppose to be an easy win for the mavs but instead BKN gave them a tough time. Kudos to BKN for putting up a fight against the hot mavs

that was such a risky play at the end by the Mavs, not sure if Nets had fouls to give that time but if they had, there's definitely a chance for Nets to have won this matchup either way, this was an incredible game to watch. so intense. that game winning show by Dinwiddie reminded me of Damian Lillard

I actually prefer Sabonis more before this Dinwiddie/Bertans trade, but after Dinwiddie showed up I'm not sure anymore. Yeah, Mavs don't have strong presence in front of the paint, but Luka finally have someone he could trust in clutch situations, and that's more important.
