@@doowserg7263 The defense is what keeps him out there. He is one smart guy and knows how to use his body. Did you see Reaves body up Theis and not let him get a rebound? The guy had 50+ lbs and 3" height advantage on Reaves. Reaves knows how to use his Bruce Lee Chi and flow like water to keep the monsters back. They should name him Holdor because his job is to hold that door!

Enjoyable to see is the USA team. They passed a solid test against Germany, but I don't believe they can lose that easy. Although they are young, they play as a team and don't seem to let anything or anybody stand in their way. Future superstar in the making is ANT.

Impressive comeback but boy the US defense was a sieve. Especially the perimeter d. Germany and in particular Schroeder got into the paint at will resulting in a ton of wide open 3's and rim attacks by Germany's bigs. Got to find somebody that can stop the ball. When the roster was announced I was concerned about this. Unless they clean it up it will only take a really hot shooting night on kick out 3's to send the US home.

Jackson Jr looks lost at times with his defense. I know he was the DPOY winner, but man, he left his man wide open several times. Austin Reaves had to show him in the back to let him know that he is not cutting the mustard.

That was a good win for Team USA but, I hope Kerr realizes that he may have to play Jaren Jackson jr and Bobby Portis together more often, especially against teams with big frontlines like Germany and Spain. The USA got pounded on the boards, a Jackson Jr, Portis, Bridges front line can offset the other team's big frontline.

Yeah I feel like Kerr should've found one more versatile defensive big to be safe. AD would be perfect to make sure our rim protection would never lack with either him or JJJ out there at all times. Ofcourse he ls not playing no fiba tournament anymore though, probably next Olympics.

Tyrese Haliburton, Austin Reeves and Paolo Banchero provide great energy off the bench. Haliburton should be starting over Brunson though! Antman is special this is expected, for him to get buckets when they need it down the stretch!
