30 seconds per round for a popping battle is absolute nonsense. That's nowhere near enough time to showcase their true skills. Timing is so important in popping in order to tell a story through the movements.

Been watching since the early 70's. Angyil is one of the best I ever seen. Male or female. I just wish she was more flyer when she gets down. The theatrics are ok... But all in all, she's super dope!

A strange call indeed. Thought Slim took that no problem but judges had another mindset. Regardless of the decision....Angyil was really really good, despite going against a world renown popper like slim. I would love to see her around more. And to those who dislike the decision...smile a little more. Slim clapped for her and gave her a high five, she deserves props for sure. Congratz Angyil! Slim don't ever change my man. You are the guy most of us aim to be. Keep striving and keep smiling.

Sometimes i wonder why slim enter these battles in the first place where there's not much of a challenge for him. This wasn't a fair battle to begin with, he's on a higher level than that girl, his moves are cleaner and his musicality is unbelievable. Slim could care less about what the judges think or winning a battle as long as he's having fun.

some judges look for more character than the technical stuff. angyil did show alot of character. shes not even bad. shes battled many dope popper before

Maverick Garcia But is she slim boogie good though? Slim is really that good that people expect him to be even better so their expectations of him is much higher then everyone else. And even with that handicap he delivers which makes him in my opinion the best popper alive (Hard decision putting him over gucchon). I thought he did enough to win but props to angyil for winning. She clearly cherish the moment

Ive seen her do alot better before. Yes slim killed her with technique and high musicality. but some judges dont just judge on that. ive been in battles where the judges would judge more on character than the technical stuff. thats probably the case with this battle. The judges wanted to see alot of character maybe. Slim is one of the best in the US. but i dont think he's the best aha. Hoan and boogie frantick are my favorite but yeah. I'd put some of the asian poppers over him. But thats just me dude
