I have been trying to figure out why I love this channel, so much. Why do I wish I was sitting in a chair at the stream bank, beside these two groovy guys ? Is it because I explored NH, Maine, & VT for 60 years ? Is it because I have been in Rosie's store several times ? Is it because I love the Lincoln NH area ? Is it because I love the outdoors and wilderness places ? I think the reason might be... they are bringing back very very fond memories for me. What's the difference between the dark and light honeys? Sweetness- flavor? I noticed the color differences.

Thanks for watching. On Sunday we are Baking a seafood casserole. I hope that makes up for the kielbasa...lol. In my area the light honey is from the spring flowers and mellow in flavor. As the season goes on the honey gets darker because of the different flowers in my area. The darker honey is full flavored strong honey. I like the dark honey. Most honey connoisseurs prefer darker honey. Some people prefer the light colored honey for baking and cooking for a sweetener.

I loved tonight episode as usual. Another good thing that goes well with the peppers and onions and chicken or kielbasa is a can of pineapple tidbits or chunks. I would love to see a video on your pack......... what all you carry in it and how you secure you pans and sluice to the outside etc.

Maine allows a sluice box. We are not in the national Forest. We are on the east branch of the Swift river in Byron Maine.
