This video is 4K UHD 60fps footage of the FINAL DAY of many Future World attractions at Epcot. The Fountain of Nations, Club Cool, Fountain View(Starbucks), the Epcot Character Spot, Colortopia and Innoventions all had their final day of operation yesterday September 7th 2019. At the D23 Expo in August, it was announced that the name of Future World will be erased and changed to 3 different sections called World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature. With all these attractions now closed, this is the end of Future World in my opinion. I will miss Future World very much, especially the Fountain of Nations. Not sure how much this matters to other people, but here we go: In 1990, I was 11 years old. My mother had just had 2 aneurysms and a stroke and we were never sure day to day if she was going to make it. My school took a school hosted trip to FL over the summer and my dad made me go to get a break from the situation. The trip included a day at Disney and we could decide which park we wanted to go to. My friends and I were nerds, so naturally EPCOT was the choice. I remember riding World of Motion, Horizons, Journey Into Imagination (the real one), Spaceship Earth (Walter Cronkite) and all the other classics. I remember walking into Innoventions Plaza and thinking that I really was in the future. On that day, with all my friends, I forgot about my troubles and lived in a better future. Even today with my own family, when I walk down the main entrance to Epcot and I'm greeted with that beautiful sphere, I'm grateful for a place like Disney World and EPCOT where people of all ages, nationalities, and difficulties are encouraged to be kids or live in the future. So while I'm sad to see some of this go away, I'm pleased that the park will always be new and evolving. Thanks for this last video!

I'm really going to miss these attractions a lot. I used to visit them every vacation, and really enjoyed them. This really is heartbreaking to see them go.

I don't understand why anyone thinks what's there now is better. This was amazing. The fountain, layout, lights, sure maybe different attractions or new paint colors but everything should have remained the same buildings walkways fountain.

I’m so glad we were there a week and half ago I didn’t have the heart to tell my son the fountains wouldn’t be there. Will wait till next time we visit

First went to Epcot as a kid in 1992, it blew my mind. Didn't get back there until 2011, and while WS was still pretty cool, future world was a pale shadow of what I saw almost 20 years previously. It reeked of budget cuts and no clear direction. Honestly, looking at D23, I still don't think they've a clear idea. Ideally, they should go back to the original idea (not the Experimental proto obvs) and commit to it. I just think that Disney thinks everyone is too stupid now and needs some IP to relate to. So glad they got rid of Leave a Legacy though.

BIG news: Fountain of Nations is safe for ONE more day! I was surprised to see it still running when I came to work today!

I have been going to Disney since I was 6 months old and younger and now the did this now this is my first year since I was born I got universal AP and not disney I livev in FL its just sad :( Tell me why did they do this?

Keian Finlay disney is trying to change Epcot to something new instead of keeping the “Future” theme because it costs a lot of money to keep up with the technology. I agree it is very sad
