So Clear was in the padded room by choice. She checked herself into the hospital and stayed there even after the doctors said she could leave. She could have walked out at any point, she just didn't want to give death a chance to kill her

this movie is everybody's phobia when they're kids/teens so it amazes me theres people who never seen this and never had to deal with truck getting near on the road and thinking about Final Destination 2 😭

Yes! The log truck scene. After this movie came out, I think a lot of people really developed this sort of irrational fear of them or other big trucks.

So when Evan is cooking and the H falls off the fridge into the Chinese box the letters on the fridge spell E.Y.E. which he takes the ladder through the eye. A lot of people don't notice that.

The one thing that confused me about that death was how he didn’t even react to landed on multiple shards of glass to his exposed back I would’ve instantly rolled over in pain😂💀but nah doesn’t even notice the glass in his back and sits there in the same position🤦‍♂️so frustrating

This also makes Death more of a character since it spared Clear since she was in the padded room Death went after the highway survivors and would kill Clear when the time is right.

Oh, believe me, this movie gave so many people that fear. Especially since sometimes, the logs do not seem to be strapped on well?? But yeah, even as someone who grew up watching horror films, that became a real fear.

I live in Oregon so there are log trucks around A LOT. I've been driving on the freeway and suddenly they'll be one in front of you and then one in each of the lanes next to you. If I'm alone I always think, "Welp, I'm going to die" or if friends or family are in the car someone always says that lol.

Cool fact: Eugene Dix ( the guy who was supposed to die in the motorcycle) was played by T. C. Carson. The voice of Kratos in all of God of War games except GOW 2018 and the upcoming Ragnarok.

The scene with the log truck has stayed with me since I first watched this movie. Made me a bit paranoid when I see them on the road. Or the ones with all the metal poles. This and the first one are definitely some of the best of the series. Three is decent. The fourth movie (known as the The 'Final' Destination is . . . certainly something. I rank number five as being up there with the first two though. Very good. And unnerving.

@@TheMikeLawz Because he’s the essence of pure evil Plus, 2018 is a reboot, nothing is canon past the very first movie It’s got a few timelines in the franchise Original JLC is 1978, the sequel in ‘81 and then her daughter takes over in 4,5&6 (3rd one is a supernatural spin-off) Then it reboots to the first two movies and then 20 years later which is H20 and then out of contractual obligation, she did Resurrection in 2002 This timeline is just 1978, 2018, and then it’s Halloween Kills it’s year, and Halloween Ends next year Rob zombie’s is a remake and he’s literally a vicious beast in that one but the sequel gets kinda weird

To be honest, final destination 2 is for me the best of them all, moat death make sense and the twist of the final scene was brutal, the third one is also good, the fourth movie since they wanted to introduced 3D, went downhill

I saw this movie in middle school and I have always been afraid of a water bottle getting stuck behind the gas pedal. I never connected it until like 15 years later. I saw this one and the roller coaster one. I think these were more gorey than scary serial killer type movies. So they’re easier to watch.
