@@andreadeamon6419 technically, it really didn't. looping things into alex not being the first in the chain, actually just added baggage. and the thing which 2 did, is also something not further explored, cause the survivors in two, probably caused more unevennessin survivors that should've d13d if alex never started the airplane chain. it also doesn't explain why alex then had the premonition. so technically with the horror movie rules, until you don't clearly state which forces are at play, you can keep the IP going forever. for now the only explanation is, destiny is the enemy, we don't know how these ppl get premonitions to fend off destiny, so we still know nothing at all. i mean we can call the coincidences happening death, but there is this one coincidence that doesn't havbe a name yet, which is the premonition. and for aslong as we have no explanantion why some ppl know destiny and can read deaths mind, for aslong we can sequel the ish out of this franchise. i also don't think it's getting stale. because we don't know much of anything, besides that there is some force, that doesn't like meddling with destiny, that will then take it into its own hands. we could jump off from any part in the franchise, and have 6 survivors that didn't perish, when they would've because some of the other 6 survivors, conflicted with their actual end. stopping 6 ppl from ending when they should've, f there was a plan for everything, would already make endless waves of changes in the plan. now imagine if alex's outburst, kept the whole plane from ever taking off. and betweet 150 and 200 ppl would've survived when they shouldn't have. and i feel like this is where this should be going. the fact that it became a more frequent thing, is making death do overtime, and have ppl notice weird things are happening, and somewhere in part 11 when it really gets annoying, we get some explanation of what is happening XD

The plane crash was based on a real plane crash that happened out of New York a couple years before the movie was released. TWA Flight 800 took off from JFK only to suddenly explode 13,000ft in the air. There was a short circuit in the fuel tank that caused the fuel to ignite. The front of the plane broke off first, while the rest of the plane skyrocketed upwards and then fell back down to the ocean, disintegrating on the way down. Apparently, the force of the explosive decompression was so strong that many passengers' necks were snapped. However, some passengers were alive throughout the whole ordeal. Genuinely one of the most disturbing plane crashes out there.

If you paid close attention to the scene as Alex was preparing to board the plane you'll notice that the numbers of the vehicle passing under them was one of the worst bad omens he sees prior to the unfortunate incident.😳

@@scottylewis8124 Yep! With all the clues Alex was receiving throughout the film it was a surprise he even boarded the plane to begin with but that premonition seemed like a last ditch attempt by some unseen force to smack him in the face with a warning he had been ignoring.

I love this franchise so much, the fourth is the weakest but the others are cool. The films are full of signs and indications of how the characters' deaths will be, such as Billy who is right at the beginning after they get off the plane, with the reflection of the plane passing in the middle of his face, it is very interesting ❤❤

In the original Alex died holding on to the cords and clear was pregnant, it ended with her giving birth but I believe there was wind something like that to insinuate something bad was going to happen.🎀🏋️🚨

i just realized something funny. imagine if alex's outburst stopped the plane from ever taking off? death would've been busy for a lifetime, with waves of survivors that survived because alex foiled his plan big time. the plan looks like atleast 200 ppl at max capacity. and just the 6 survivors here, produced 6 more survivors, which should produced atleast 6 more survivors. imagine if it were 200 survivors. we could go up to final destination 20, and still not be done with correcting everything. we know that FD2's new life breaks the list not how you escape, cause at the end, the grill explodes, when the list should've been reset, cause of the new life. and i doubt that death would have it out for this boy, that also only got on the list, because of alex. if alex didn't cause the airplane chain, the habitual drugy and the scooby gang, would've never even been on that farm.

A nice reaction. On thing I noticed about the film is the frequent references to water. Water is commonly a symbol of death, burial and resurrection. Death seems to be personified by water in the film. There's the water in the bathroom when Tod dies. There's a scene with Alka-Seltzer being dropped into a glass of water. There's the steaming kettle and the water leaking from the cracked mug. Alex almost drowns in shallow water. There's the canoe trip. There's the swimming-pool. It's raining when they're in the car. One of the characters is even named "Clear Rivers." Even the beer they're drinking could be considered water. By the way, Tod foreshadowed his own death, when he made a hanging motion out of frustration when Alex changed seats with the girls. Also, when Carter almost died on the train tracks, afterwards it looks like he peed his pants. Can't say I blame him. Another thing I saw was the use of German language and references to German filmmakers who were known for some famous, what you might call, horror movies. "Der Tod" is the German word for "death." Tod's the first survivor to die. In real life, if I were him, I wouldn't like that name and would have been very concerned from the get-go after the plane exploded. The character of French teacher Murnau is almost certainly a reference to the F. W. Murnau, a German director regarded as one of the most influential filmmakers for his work in the silent era. He famously directed "Nosferatu," a film about a vampire. Agent Schreck is a reference to the German actor Max Schreck who played the vampire, Count Orlok, in "Nosferatu." Interestingly, "Schreck" in German means "scare" or "fright." Agent Weine must be named after Robert Weine. He directed "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari."

Tod is also a reference to American filmmaker Tod Browning, director of _Dracula_ 1931 and _Freaks._ Same with Alex Browning. Terry Chaney refers to American actor Lon Chaney _(Phantom of The Opera_ 1925) and his son, Lon Chaney Jr _(The Wolfman_ 1941). Valerie Lewton refers to Volodymyr "Val Lewton" Leventon, a writer and producer known for his horror films made under RKO. George Waggner (Tod's brother) is named for the director and producer of _The Wolfman._ Billy Hitchcock is obviously named for suspense filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock. Clear Rivers was just the name of one of _Final Destination_ writer Jeffrey Reddick's secretaries.

whats crazy is that an alternate ending to this movie that didn't end up making it would've ended up changing the way the franchise is set up. In the AE clear ends up giving birth to Alex's baby at the end of the movie after alex died from the car explosion. (there was some deleted scenes and you can find the alternate end online) Which that would've made Clear be fine because bringing in a new life canceled out death. Carter was also alive at the end as well.

What’s crazy about this movie that there is a lot of water/liquid related to the deaths in the movie. •Tod slipping on the water on the clothesline • Clear and Alex drinking coffee when Terry got hit by the bus • Ms. Lewton’s alocohol caused the computer to explode and the bottle in her kitchen • it was raining when Carter started driving crazy and he peed himself when he almost died. • Alex escaping the cops with a canoe and then when the tree fell on him and almost drowned him in that little puddle • the wine spilling on the design sheet making it look like Blood on Alex’s name Also (if not said already) the crash in this movie is based on TWA Flight 800 which exploded 12 min after leaving JFK Airport and all 230 passengers died and the wreckage was even used in the film 😳😳😳😳

I’m not a huge fan of most horror/gore movies since most are just blood and guts with no real story. But the final destination movies are so creative and the deaths are always just outside of what you expect.
