Thank you for this video. I’m playing this game the first time and this is very helpful. Straight to the point. The Bard comment was perfect!!!

The Bard job class is potentially breakish. You can do level song to increase experience levels of party, and Requiem can be used on undead monsters. Let's not forget the confuse spell, as well.

Loved romeo's ballad to freeze superboss omega. Better comment than vid, which actually wants you to master summoner for freelancer, when spellblade rapidfire dual wield is an auto win. The Mime sucks outside of dualcast, which takes forever with a red mage (phoenix tower pixel remaster boost magic pot at 400 abp helps a ton), given you can't even equip the katana that automatically goes first for your chemist to abuse mix, and Mimic won't be as strong (though better than ff6 as gogo is slow and has half hp lol. Fft quick mime is broken to get an extra turn for positioning). 1:30 HP boost for monk lol it literally learns 10% 20% 30% hp boost, which helps mime survive. At least the thief is accurate, as your mime (you're at a disadvantage if using 2 as dualcast also doesn’t work with blue magic) need speed for super bosses (and probably didn't master ninja for dual wield rods). No idea why it's seen as on par with freelancer, when it is unplayable outside a red mage time mage Summoner (hastega/quick golem) build.

Nice to see someone giving this game the love it deserves! I love it. Probably my favorite/second favori te game in the series... I just found out about the usefulness of the freelancer in my second playthrough. Monk was metal! And I think blue mage is S tier indeed. The problem is that getting all the blue magic is hell hahahaha Mystic Knight is also fucking broken. I remember I used their abilities in one of my freelancers. It's a shame that classes like Beserker, Geomancer and Beastmaster could be much cooler... I would just put bard maybe in B tier. They had some nice skills iirc Dancer is trash tho. And I think I never gave proper respect to Chemist. And Mimic is so op... It's a shame I just found about them in my THIRD playthrough...

That’s the good thing about FFV job system, you just keep playing it and discovering new things in each playthrough and never ever get bored (unless you’re doing a Berserker-only run lol) I think Bard !Sing can be like A-tier when playing ultra fast ATB or maybe LLG, even Dancer’s Sword Dance can be useful sometimes, but these situations are too critical... And yeah, FFV is one of my favorites too :D

Half of all blue magic isnt worth using. I just start all 4 off as blue mage. Vampire is broken for the first few hours, and after level 3 you can leave blue mage behind because all your guys have 'blue' and the 'learning' skill which makes it extremely easy to learn the few blue spells that are worth it. I'm at crescent island and I haven't used a white mage once. Just vampire, goblin punch, aqua rake, death claw, and lvl 5 death your way through everything like an unstoppable force of nature. It doesn't just trivialize most boss fights it nukes randoms. It should be banned

Blue Mage is deserving of every bit of love that it gets.

Geomamcer spells are really good against the enemies in the floating castle where you get the earth crystal jobs. Also, don't sleep on ranger as it has one of the best legendary weapons with a boosted crit rate. You can cheese Omega with a spellblade that has rapid fire and three bards with the stop inducing song. Dragoons are useless, even against Shinryu as long as you know which mixes are good.

I do like you list but you have missed some of the most important points (and you have spoiler the game!) Example: • Bard can equip Apollo Harp -> 6000+ DMG to Undead and Dragons. !Sing is ok. You can easily farm Dragon Fang and Dark Matter with it. Is it at least a B tier. • Dancer can equip early the Ribbons making them a very nice spellcasters (Wind Knife + Ribbon + Syldra/Aeroga) Can SwrDnc with Chicken knife with Rainbow Dress/Red Slippers easily inflicting 9999 as soon as you get them (50% chance) • Beastmaster can totally disable some random enemies with !Control that makes Blue Magic much much MUCH more easier to learn... •... speaking of Blue Mage is god... Actually not. They maybe deserve the gold or silver medal of the A tier and nothing more. Quite dependant on Beast master. • Thief is S tier: Just one in your party enables Sprint Run (QoL) Find Passages (Hidden Goodies) and Vigilance (Farm needed). Can use TwinLance and with a Time Mage can make you obtain some OP equipment throughout the game. • Ranger A really? Rapid Fire is really good but only that and not even on a Ranger that can't dual wield Bows. C tier at best. • Chemist is S tier. !Mix is game breaking even if it's really hard to master. If you use !Drink + !Mix you can easily abuse Dragon Breathes. • Black Mage is at least a mid A Tier; Have access to 3 high tier elemental spells (Fir/Blizz/Thund-Ga). And a full party Reflect with a self-Group casting is Vivi-Power Damage not to mention you can heal part members that have Fire Ring / Ice Shield / Fire Shield. • White Mage can't be better than Chemist. Sancta is good cause Elder Staff and they can easily AoHEaling. But their equipment is extremely limited and their Debuff removing specialities can be easily be replaced with healing !Items with any Job. If you prefer WMage over a Chemist, you are most likely a lazy person. • Samurai in B tier ? They have Shiradori. They have Zeniage. They have weapons with Critical Hits and a Shield. They have access to Masamune. Once mastered You can be a (More or less) Odin.

Blade dance is broken on monk. Cause it's potentially 9999 damage on a single target.

Idk about you but I'd put more respect on Chemist for the broken mix just like red mage just for the dualcast. I mean we're talking about breaking the game so I'd put it at A / S tier standalone job

In terms of raw power ofc Red is pretty game breaking. The problem is that nearly 1200 AP to get there is nothing to sneeze at and as a job on its own it gets very weak and limited very quickly. Even with AP farms I think it'd end up being a longer playthrough than other options. It feels epic, it just doesn't get you through the game faster in the long run
