Having replayed this game recently, this is still by far one of the songs I love most from this game. I can feel Freya's distraught over both losing Fratley and seeing Burmecia in shambles.

I can see Freya walking alone through the ruin of Burmecia in the heavy rain with deep sorrow in her eyes....this song brings so much emotion to me. Great work!!

Oh man this is good. I love the alternating bass notes: first they are split between the two guitars, then Sam takes over the alternating notes while Steve moves up to a higher/different finger picking pattern. Very nicely arranged! Also the palm-muting at the end sounds very good :) Fantastic job guys!

I had this song as my ringtone for years. Every time my phone rang it just made me feel... Comfortable i guess is a good word for it. This game just reminds me of my childhood and my mom that has since passed away. Nostalgia associated with music can be so powerful.

You guys are awesome! I love how the Uematsu melodies always remind me of exactly where I was when I played the game. I remember the first time I picked up FFIX and to this day, it's one of my favorites. I think that's why I prefer the classic FF's, those tunes take you back to a place in time. Bravo to you guys and your hard work, I hope to see you in South Florida Soon!

I'm a musician myself, percussion mostly. I've dabbed around a bit with the guitar but I'm definitely not this good. I've always loved hearing the soothing sounds of a well played acoustic. On top of that, I've also very much enjoyed the FF series and hearing this was nothing short of heaven to my ears. If suggestions are welcome, I'd like to request that you guys give Beatrix's theme a go. Loss of Me is the actual title of the piece. I'd like to see what you guys can do with it.
