One thing I wish more people did that this artist did right: Adding in the sound effects from before the fight as well as the "SWOOSH" This alone gave me the chills I once had when this fight first started.

I dont know why everybody is saying that there are "off key" moments in the piece. Its called dissonance and I personally love what it does to this piece

Your remasters are simply beautiful. You've brought me joy for hours as I sit back, relax, and listen to your music. What you make here is like art to me. These remasters and re-orchestras give me the same vibes as I'd get from listening to them in the game, while giving hints of nostalgia and sound great. If you remastered some tracks from Final Fantasy X, I would listen to them all day.

Listening to this with headphones in is just a damn right pleasure. The percussions are freaking fantastic. I'm not sure if you were going for this, but it really does sound like a professional orchestra is performing this piece.

1:55 i too thought the sound was off, but it's just a bit muddled in between the other sounds. If you listen carefully, presumably not on cheap laptop speakers like i was, You can hear the tone is actually right. Not off. :') then again, it wouldn't have gotten 170k views with off-notes.

Oh myyyyyyyy... Some people are saying some of the instruments are off key. I ain't a music but around 1:40 and 3:40 during the brass solo(? Where they get to be the prominent instrument) theres some off notes thrown in there (I think) To me it builds this tension thats relieved right when the string kick back in. It actually hit me right in the nostalgia and makes wanna cry a little.

I think you're right. I think too many people are getting dissonance confused with off key.... mmm... delicious dissonance.... anyways, i'm actually only a bit unsatisfied with the lack of certain instruments in those parts... it feels like it's missing some strings in the chords. I dunno, either way, it was a great remaster. like... high pitched strings... I dunno, maybe my ears are playing tricks on me.

ZapBlaze I find that missing instruments seems to be a thing with remixes. That & a lack of proper acoustics as often in a remix (Spesificly synthetic orchestra) the instruments seem to start & stop very abruptly without an after echo to really push the instrument's impact. What emmidiately struck to me about this remix was the precussions. There's a certain kind of clanging sound going on in there & I don't know about you, but it sounds a bit wierd to me. Makes it sound like this is the theme of the tribal jungle hunt for Jenova.

AlluMan96 I think I hear what you're talking about. the drums and the tambourine kind of.... pierce through the rest of the song. I think I like that in it, though. helps to give a sense of finality to the whole ordeal. and I understand what you're getting at with the "tribal jungle" feel, but again, I think it works with the rhythm of this tune. in fact, I think the percussion all sound pretty okay.... but that's nothing more than opinion, huh? ;3

It's not illegal. Since I'm an artist with Joypad Records and Loudr, they license the piece for me and a portion of sales go to the respective copyright holders.
