wait, i'm just noticing that it seems Zack and Cloud are arriving in Midgar, and a huge section of the plate is missing............is....it showing the alternate past/timeline and that's when sector 5 plate collapsed? Or did zack and cloud somehow appear after the fall of the sector 7 plate?..................I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

There is a plate that collapsed prior to the events of FF7 due to a construction accident. You can actually see it in the game, and Aerith tells you about it.

@@ironwolf677 In actuality, it was because of a massive summon conjured by Avalanche to purge the world of all life and destroyed by the Turks, but not everyone knows about it. It happened during Before Crisis, and I'm looking forward to see it brought back in Ever Crisis.

@@ironwolf677 OK, so I read the Ultimania guide for Final Fantasy VII Remake, and apparently the sector 6 plate went down much earlier than when Before Crisis took place, like 20 years or so, so the final battle of that game probably took place in the slums.

I just come for the comments, love reading final fantasy fan comments on the recent FF7R news. I'd rather avoid the hype and wait to see how fans react once they have played the new games, I don't like it when people get excited over nothing.
