@nezkeys79 I never played it, I watched someone else play it on YT 😸 I'm going to do my own run tho. I never got to it before because the graphics were so off putting to me, but at least there's mods now 😹

The graphics and FMV's are good for a ps1 game, but the character models are just awful lol So you've seen the ending of the original on someone else's playthrough? You will already know that the end of FF7 remake altered things then from the original game

@nezkeys79 yup! It was a gameplay without commentary I watched 😸 so I don't get distracted from what's happening in the game. Yeah, the Remake I've played, it mostly followed the OG so it was a nice refresh to the memory 😸

3 months is a loooong time, and then have to dodge spoilers as well 😹 at least now you can buy a PS5. Getting one during the release year was not easy! I was just lucky. Right?! And it seems to be going the same way looking at the trailer 😹 I don't mind tho

@@SlashterpieceGaming i think Tifa probably care more about Aerith on her side as BFF in part 3 when Aerith reunite with whole party near ending and Tifa will understand Aerith feeling for Cloud and move on to rather have Aerith as BFF

@@SlashterpieceGaming Hey true all that!😉 Also what you said about Tifa and Zack being your favorites, they are MINE too! Tifa is a sexy tough girl and she is the one who's meant for Cloud. Zack is definitely much better in personality and has always had more of a heart & soul of a true hero too than Cloud does. Furthermore I hope something different happens with Aerith too and she'll survive so she and Zack will finally see each other again ALIVE!

Seriously? Vincent isn't going to be playable?! I've been waiting for the game to open up and the party characters to all be available. Looks like i am going to be disappointed again. I didn't play the first part of the remake, and it looks like i won't be playing this one either.

The graphics are so bad 😹 that's my first thought, but it has a really fleshed out story, great characters and character development. But with the OG getting these graphics mods, I'll do a gameplay of it 😸

@@SlashterpieceGaming yeey! I love the graphics in FF7 except for the world map. the backgrounds is art and the characters are lego style and show a lot of emotions with so little.

The creators said it tied into Advent Children, but with a post-AC Sephiroth changing time, it already ties in without necessarily leading to AC again. If you actually want someone to explain why they want Aerith to live, I can give you my personal thoughts on it. In Remake, the epilogue set 500 years later has already been painted as a "barren future" for the team to try to avert. Kitase said of the epilogue in a 2005 interview with EGM (October 2005 issue 196) that humanity has been destroyed by then. So basically, The Planet survived but not humans. In addition to all of this, Sephiroth has now come back multiple times since his "defeat." It's a tall order for them to try to sell me on that OG ending as a result. I don't just want to save Aerith, I want to save humanity and stop Sephiroth for good. Aerith doesn't have to die for us to defeat Meteor. Crisis Core established a whole goddess in the lifestream that a living Aerith could call upon to direct the lifestream, and Zack knows about Minerva. We don't know yet how the timelines could merge. Making all changes negative is just lazy writing. If we can stop Sephiroth sooner or change his plans, we could see a future where humans and nature could learn to flourish together. Who better to lead humans into such a future than a half Cetra? If we are trying to save humanity from extinction, the theme of life is still central to the plot. Also, that Aerith moment can never be the shock it was in '97. Even those of us who want her to live are braced for it. I'd rather they did something really new to surprise us and repaired the ending, which is unsatisfying and damaged by their tinkering.

​@FenrirInFlowers exactly I agree with you. Aerith being alive would only make the story more interesting and could lead to a better future and path. Writing the same story again is just lazy writing, no shock. Everybody already knows everything.
