If you want to really make her more tank-ier, then give hp absorb to her attack element materia. She can mage tank nearly anything in the game.

@@jianuzzi thanks for the tip. This could 1000% be an eSport the way you can strategize and execute to defeat bosses. I platinumed the game but never mastered the mechanics. Watching y'all spank these bosses is visual eye candy. Appreciate what you do and keep it up

Parry made a huge difference in Aerith's offense. Most of her moves have a lot of end lag.

True, unfortunately Aerith doesn't have an attacking limit, but that extra atb would make a strong difference

@@jianuzzi you literally needed one fleeting familiar projectile off a spell and he'd have staggered it's so close. Did you find elemental made a solid difference for Aerith?

@@jianuzzi I wouldn't let it bother you it's still a great run man not many people could get near it I'm sure. The run is so heavy on Tempest and Sorcerous Storm I can see why that damage adds up. Good luck if you do it again either way 👍

@@jianuzzi i keep trying to follow several guides on KZfaq. But, I really can’t get past Bahamut. I even equip Fire + Elemental Materia.

@@gb99xbear you may want to equip more mp up materia on every so you can cast more aga spells to stun lock bahamut til he drops

Ya It takes timing. Once you drop her the 1st time, get in the habit of doing full charge tempest. Do a regular attack or 2, then cast fire or fira to drop her again

Well there's your problem. Aerith has always been great for damage. People need to stop treating her like a healer, she's just a 'mage.' The only one in ff7 interestingly enough. Aerith is by far the most unique character in ff7 og, hmm surely there is a reason for that...

@@cjtheman2985 Reading before you comment would be helpful. I said to not treat her as just a healer. Of course you use her as a mage, I said as much. The second paragraph is off-topic a bit you're right, but still fits a discussion about her role. Speaking of which, healing wind and great gospel are both beyond broken op in the og (fury brand as well ig). As for not enjoying her playstyle, that's just personal preference. I find her the most fun out of the four.

Nw. You don't have to beat hard mode, but you do have to go to chapter 17 hard mode and use the combat simulation there to find top secrets. There will be a few fights you'll have to do 1st in the simulation to be able to fight top secrets too

Oh wait. I misread. So you already got to top secrets, but can't beat it yet. It's one of the hardest challenges in the game so it will be difficult at 1st. You don't have to beat hard mode to actually beat top secrets, but I'd advise maxing out materia and lvls before you try it

Aerith solo vs Weiss is harder cuz you can't avoid the "stab" with her unfortunately

@@jianuzzi doing the secret fight and getting that thing you get for doing it.. just finished normal

@@MrShabamon make sure to level up elemental materias and pair it with fire on armor for two characters. This will make ifrit do nothing or even heal you when he is summoned. That's probably the biggest help in top secrets for people trying it for the 1st time

I thought it was amazing
