So, given the recent E3 news I couldn't contain myself and had to open this WIP project and finish it up real quick, just had to!

Super Guitar Bros hey Steve! Thanks for checking the video man :D It was kind of a coincidence, I was working on this on the side, and didn't plan to release it yet, but since I saw the announcement, I got super pumped and went crunch-mode to finish it as quickly as I could haha :)

Metallix Knight The original ff7 with improvements to the original graphics is available on steam for 6$ currently. I'd recommend playing it sometime b4 the remake is released.

This is excellent. Out of curiosity, what do you use for your virtual instruments? The strings sounded ace here.

zaglamir Thank you! My orchestral sounds are all from EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, my drums are Superior Drummer 2.0 and sometimes I use some EDM synths from this VST called "Nexus". I think that's pretty much it :)

+David Ewing I like to draw inspiration from any kind of music I listen to. My favorite musical genres are Symphonic & Power Metal, so that's probably where I draw the most. Favorite band is Nightwish, which I'm told this cover sounds a lot like it :)

Sephiroth's true/actual theme been so long since I've heard it. Don't get me wrong I like One Winged Angel and all of its varients but this was a theme you heard often and singled that ish was about to get real. Great cover/mix!! Also what's all this about a remake? I thought people gave up on that years ago.

Kidding aside, I was working on this slowly, was planning to finish it for maybe next month or so (I usually work on multiple songs at a time), but when I saw the announcement I got super pumped and decided to finish it as quickly as I could. I just needed to let it out of my system haha :D

Ferdk, amazing job and cover ... but the name of song is wrong no? "Those Who Fight" or "Fight On!" is the battle against boss. This cover is "Lets Battle Begin." (You can check on youtube "Those Who Fight" to see the diference) I know it because i make an cover of Those Who Fight and I did the search. (On Final Fantasy 7 OST CD1, Track - 10 Lets Battle Begin and Track 20 Fight On!/Those Who Fight).

andersongs87 the boss battle is "Those Who Fight Further" (kinda a play on words referring to this one). The japanese titles are "fighting" (normal battle) and "still more fighting" (boss battle). Those Who Fight and Those Who Fight Further were the initial english names, but for some reason the iTunes release has been renamed to Let The Battles Begin! and Fight On. They can't seem to set on a name XD For reference, the AC arrangement is also named Those Who Fight: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7-Zrc9ilpPenZc.html (badass remix btw, I love this one)
