If I remember correctly he is the only boss where you can draw Ultimas with no exhaustion limit. Considering the fact that Ultima is the best magic for raising stats no wonder you want to cheese this boss fight and draw 99 Ultimas on them 3 characters.

Man. I was so OP in FF8 that Ultima and Omega were like normal bosses.. only faster. Once you get their strategy down, you just know what to do..

Old friend of mine took him down with just two limit breaks. I don't remember what level he was at but I had a feeling he was strong enough to make Ultima Weapon look like a wimp.

Probably used Zell since he can chain his attacks so many times - could also have got lucky with Selphie and used The End.

I beat him 2nd try... barely lol Phoenix saved my party twice, used and I used all my auras, but did it with party in mid 50s

I killed this boss at 2nd attempt, without using any guides or whatever, i dont even know that theres a hidden save point before ultima weapon battle lol... What makes this hard is that every 1 to 2 step u take u will encounter strong monsters like ruby dragon, annoying confuse caster imp, if im not mistaken etc.. And then becoz its ur first time u dont know that theres a hidden save point before the boss fight hahahaha, the 3rd thing is you dont know the skill set of your enemy hahaha like light pillar that kills a single character in one shot lol, gravija stronger version of demi lol, and meteor it also cast ultima not quite sure

you don't need meltdown if you have 255 attack, you'll always deal 9999 damage in limit breaks

Gravija! Meteor! Time to stock more Ultima! Haha brave moves made. Weird though.....i was just noticing....ultimate....his...sort of amalgam of monster human...um...well.... ...his human body, where his monster junk junk would be, anatomically lines up, with that quadrapeds monster mouth....so much more of a nightmare that i gave it credit for. Rando side fact...recently noticed in ultimecias final form design....you can see her dangling upsidedown from inside of her new form. So metal...

I know he's an easter egg from ff7, but lorewise I always likedto think of him as a weapon created by ff8's planet, Squall and the gang are so deep in the earth they found green rocks that could be materias but this planet lifestream isn't well developed to be like the one in ff7 so the planet could only produce one Weapon to protect itself.

The weapon looks almost identical... I was expecting a better graphic improvement. A bit disappointing, thanks for the video anyway.

That because the game, they just improve the graphic char, but mountain, river, sand, etc still look the same at FF8 original. I think this is not remaster, since there is no chance in battle system, battle song, etc. (Unlike ff 10 hd remaster, they not only they improve the graphic, they chance the battle song (more orchestra i think), and the gameplay( no all magic in ff 10 hd remaster) )

I swear Ultima gave me more of a hard time than omega did. When I fought ultima I was totally unprepared in maybe level mid 40s or 50s Ultima for some reason really a lot quicker than omega, and that gravija+ light pillar were an absolute pain in the ass to deal with at such levels. Omega weapon all party was at level 100, lionheart's, fast ammo plus zell with high spr for a good ass beating. Terra break Is easily deal with "defend" ability.

@@mayronsting5627 while leveling, equip spr bonus to get a bonus point on your spr stat, then you can boost it with spr+20, 40 and 60%

I'd be suicide for the GFs unless you can summon them really quickly. Ultima sometimes does a double attack, so GFs don't stand much of a chance of survival since you can't heal them

Literally everyone. LoL. Animations take too long and party can do so much more damage in way less time.
