@a3lex33 Sin used to be a person, I won't spoil much but this person that became Sin lived in Old Zanarkand, that's why he has a version of the city inside of him. The real city was destroyed a thousand years ago (you visit it's ruins in the game), so the one inside of Sin is just a "dream", like the one Tidus comes from. This info is not 100% correct, but if I say anything more I will spoil it, but this should be ok for now.

just a little question with a strategy I had. if I have tidus with his celestial weapon, hasted and spamming quick hit, should that work?

@a3lex33 - I think Zanarkand was the area after Gagazet, around the Yunalesca boss. It was destroyed ages ago, but they made Dream Zanarkand, which is off the coast of Spyra. Then Sin is just dreaming a different instance of Dream Zanarkand.

My tip for fighting sin is by training u're characters in omega dungeon, it lvl's up fast, later you can also train at the calm lands monster arena. Celestial weapons are the best weapons you can get, try to collect all of them, at that point you wont need u're aeons anymore.

Let me sum up final fantasy x for you: there are insanely powerful dark aeons, insanely powerful monsters at the calm lands arena, an insanely powerfull boss known as Penance, and yet sin is the one who gets all the attention.

@SiuRuy True, when I first beat him it was such a fun and difficult battle. When I came back after the side-quests I killed pretty much everything in 1 attack Oo, this game has some crazy post-game strength

Was never able to keep his overdrive bar down; Anima fixed this "problem" called sin for me :)

why didnt you use the overdrives cause if you used rikku's overdrive mix you could do fire gem and ice gem

idk if this was slower, but it sure was a hell of a lot more adrenaline inducing Summon Bahamut and use his special attack.,..i forgot its name :3

Okay, now that I've deciphered your moonspeak, assuming they also kill Yu Yevon, then it will not. The reason they killed it using aeons was because it created a weaker Sin that would be easier to get rid of later. Another thing useful about going inside Sin is that Yu Yevon can't run away.

You can't go back once you get past the city of dieing dreams (which is the part after you kill seymour omnis) so save it before you go on.

Sin is a summon...not a bioweapon. Its an armor summoned first by Yevon to protect dream Zanarkand

lol I rememer dis battle..I still didn't beat it yet. I thought the countdwon ( overdrive) was a joke/prank so I as taking my sweet ol' time...than I died :( TY! I BEAT DA BOSS!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! no aeons needed at all :)

I always gave Wakka Mental Break, and Armor Break just for this fight. Then have Lulu Doublecast him, everyone else defend until he's in range then unload on him. Then use Anima to score the Overkill.

kh2userx do one thing! buy 100 soft's, n customise ur armour to be atleast stone ward! if u wanna be stone proof well then u gotta STEAl a hell of a lot of petrify grenades, but stone ward shud do the trick, maybe take 2-3 turns but its better than nothing! it generally works!! hope this helps! best of luck! ANIMA's definetly worth it!

Sin is hard, if you are under leveled and don't have pertification armor on, but beside that as long as you are quick he is easy.

all that time and effort to destroy sin and he deflected a freaking giant laser machina thing. and tidus kicked his ass. wow... realism indeed. His overdreive though is prettty ligit, imma firin mah lasaaaa!!!!!!! *game over*

This isn't hard at all if you know what to do. If you trained Lulu and Wakka and Yuna has Holy, use them in the begining, then change to Tidus and Auron for close range, simple. I didn't train Lulu and my Yuna didn't had Holy btw, i more or less lucked out when i won the first time.

I couldn't kill this guy when my guys were doing 2000 per hit, I had every "aga" spell, and I had Shining Gems. The only thing I was doing wrong, apparently, was I didn't use Hastega ^^;;

i love this fight, 1st time he blew me up, i laughed cuz i didnt no what the hell to do at 1st, finally got to melee range, beat the shit outta him but still got killed, 2nd time i fought him, i killed him b4 he even opened his mouth the 1st part

Wakka defeated Sin on all my game files hit him with armor break with wakka and I was hitting 9999 I defeated him by the time he got close to me.

Why bother? Yuna'll be hitting 99999 damage per spell and a nasty amount of melee by the time you get the Magus sisters. Once you get to that point in the game Aeons are completely obsolete and it's jsut time consuming to summon them.

when he was like 50.000 hp left, i had yojimbo to slice his sorry ass with the blade, it was a 999.999 massive overkill, so i did with the las encarnation of that fucker seymour and jecht, yojimbo is the best

wel semour ominous and uhm jecht/ final aeon and after that you get teh final battle between you and yu jevon you need 2 kick the ass of al your aeons

i beat sin in just 5 attacks by auron's celestial weapon

like all square enix games... you can't continue the game at all at the end...you could leave your PS2 on for a week, and the little old The End screen will just sit there

I must say that you're a little low in the parameters of the game at this point I had all the parameters to 255 with all the weapons of the seven planets and life of all in 9999 I must say that you wanted to play so without completing it 100%

sin is weaker than omega in my view omega should've been one of the last bosses not an optional boss
