I have 280 hours into the game. Got the platinum, and just now figuring out that stamina bar thing.

This is my fourth time playing through this game. I absolutely love it. Always new stuff to see and some DLCs. The graphics are breathtaking, the open world, the music… Been a FF series fan since I played FF7 on the PS1 back in the day. Not really a secret tip, but I used the ring a lot as a weapon this time around. My first few play throughs I didn’t think much of it as a weapon… only that it sometimes took weaker enemies out in one shot. However this time around I noticed even the biggest beast outside your level can be taken down. The tip to know is that it may take 2-3 times within the same battle play before it works. Replenish with elixirs to get full mp and hp back as it does drain you significantly with each attempt. Your status bars need to be full That ring was a game changer for me.

Best AP tactic: Buy the “ap for big fish” node in Exploration when you get to Altissia If you have the Royal Pack installed, you can then drive the Royal Vessel and fish for endless Tide Groupers on the Cygillan Ocean. I did that and got 333ap quick quickly (Tide Groupers are 6 per catch and any fish larger-boss fish-are worth 9)

Mostly good advice but I actually prefer riding around in the car everywhere, and camping wherever's closer. The fewer load screens the more immersion, IMO.

10 years in the making (yes, those years where development came to a halt still counts), a month delay to avoid day-one patch (spoiler alert: didn't work) and this game still could've stayed a year or so in the oven. This game has a lot of potential, but none of it's main mechanics mix together well. There is no synergy. Why can't I freely fast travel between outpost and camp sites (without the car)? Why can't I pick more than one hunt at once, and deliver all at once? Why are all side quests about getting vegetables on the far end of the map? Why is the story so chopped off? Why do I need some blue box of text to tell me what happened between chapters? What is that perfect blend between meat, egg and shrimp?

Haven't played FF since FFVII I think. It's been a while. I think I'll pick this up now while it's on sale. Thanks for the tips, Chris.

I don't have this game and I know this wasn't your usual video, but this was pretty good.

The biggest thing that made the game disappointing for me is the story. The story is decent dont get me wrong but you had to follow the games development. No other jrpg requires you to watch a movie, watch an anime, buy 4 DLCs, buy a separate multiplayer mode. Most recent news buy a Novel for the proper ending. The world of ff15 is good, the characters are good but theres to much money you gotta put into the game to fully understand it

I have a suggestion. Ignis' overwhelm ability deals much more damage than dawnbreaker when combined with the bow of the clever but you need to have at least 70~ish% health or else you'll down yourself.

The most annoying thing about this game is that using Royal arms(Legendary weapons) actually reduce HP for every successful strike

wow, I can't believe that I'm already level 72 and I haven't finished the main campaign yet because I'm doing the secondary missions first, I see that once you have finished the campaign, more powerful enemies will appear than those that come out at the beginning, which it would have been better to find out earlier because the side missions were quite easy and boring after obtaining almost double or triple the level that was required and having maximized all their abilities, such as gladius that gets very good objects against enemies very weak, is there a hard mode or a plus game?

Glad to see you recommend Dawnbreaker. I unlocked it early on and kept tellimg people to use it. It's just that good.

This is a really great informative video. Sure its all stuff you would learn during your first playthrough. But it is critical information for someone starting out.

It's confirmed. Chris has been replaced by aliens who use lots of polish. I quite like it, even if it does feel a bit strange. I think maybe a short end statement/outro would work better than an abrupt end to the video but keep up the good work.

I like wearing the black hood so there is no need to really hold block, just parry parry parry.

You didn’t talk about the “Rare Metal”. Which allows you break over 10K DPS. Combine with the Ragnarok Sword, it’s the Highest DPS for Warp Strike. Also the “Black Hood” item. It auto Blocks for you. Save you a lot of HP. Or give it to Ignis, he’s the healer. He will keep everybody Alive as long as he’s Alive. Cheers.

Great tips, The turtle fight is probably one of the worst fights iv'e ever experienced in an RPG. I can't believe the developers designed that fight and thought it was fun. I think overall ff15 had some pretty good ideas but they were implemented poorly or weren't well thought out.

The Adamantoise was able to fling me out of the red circle with his head a couple of times. He never really did any damage to Ignis Gladio or Prompto though in the hour it took me to kill him

I guess I'm one of the few that will never use the stamina trick cause as a FF vet I prefer to walk most the game taking 200+ hrs to fully enjoy it. I play immersively so I know realistically the running all the time or forever in this instance is very unrealistic I actually like they made it run out. More realism

Final fantasy 15 disappointed in many aspects

If you're making a help video for new players, maybe try to use only gameplay footage from the first 30 minutes of the game. Otherwise you risk spoiling stuff for the new players you're trying to help. Just a thought.

Jesus Christ, an open-world game having a stamina meter for sprinting is bad enough as it is (especially since,as you mention about three minutes in, you spend **so** much time just running to places). But it also **hides** this information from you by default? I hate this game more and more the more I learn about it. At least Dragon's Dogma, for all of its flaws, provides that information about stamina depletion clearly in the UI and doesn't hide it.
