I Laughed so hard in the final cutscene because i chose Cindy’s picture

That ending when Luna becomes the logo and the logo changes to be both of them gets me everytime. What a structurally messy yet beautiful story.

Ending is not complicated. Noctis sacrificed himself to defeat the demon in the afterlife and in the afterlife he became king and married Luna. The end lol

Regis standing to the side, unable to watch as his son sacrifices himself is so gd heartbreaking.

When Noctis ask his father to trust him, I like to think that it not that Regis didn't trust in Noctis but he wanted to defy Noctis's destiny more than anyone. It could also be the reason why he tried to make peace with the empire even if he knew it would fail. He tried his best to protect Noctis as a father would to protect his son.

I can't believe people seriously didn't like this game. I thought it was an amazing piece of art, and most importantly, it was fun to play. I'm captivated by the story and love this universe, and I hope we get to see at least mentions of these characters in future FF games. I guess those that don't like the story, just don't understand it.

They really gave FF15 a tragic ending. FF Type-0 style. The leaked rumors were true "Main characters dies, the afterlife is nice, the real world is ruined and must rebuild". Personally, I think the ending is fine, but the game ended a bit too abruptly and vaguely for all the wait. Yet again, it is a miracle this game came out at all, what with the technical hurdles and constant rewriting of the characters and plot for almost 10 years. Nightmarish.

This scene was sad, but I didn't cry until the credits rolled and you could see all the pictures that Prompto took throughout the game. That's what got me.

If you look closely, you can see Ardyn isn't even trying to fight. He truly did want to die.

Say what you will about this game, this ending made me appreciate all my friends that are still with me. Such a tear jerker lol

The final boss was when I reeled in that 240 pound fish. It took me 10 minutes and my line was already at about 60%

I’ve never sobbed so hard at a game ever. FFXV is flawed but you grow to love these boys and it was so emotionally devastating to watch that final scene.
