No it is on lite mode. The ps5 acts like a powered up ps4 so any unlocked frame rate mode goes to 60. If u play on another mode its 30fps. But i rather the extra frames than the extra resolution

@@Noctis736 Now see here, have you understood a single thing I have said? PS4 Pro Legacy Mode is running on the PS5 when you run PS4 titles that are Pro Enhanced, FFXV is a game that is one of them. Running a PS4 game on the PS5 does not entitle higher resolution and higher framerate, framerate stability may be but game performance is better if PS4 titles receive their respective PS5 upgrades. And no, there are neither updates nor announcements about FFXV getting a PS5 upgrade that run 4K60. The Royal Edition does not count as a PS5 upgrade. The video above is a PC render where they have possibly upped the resolution and of course, the framerate to 60 FPS. Do not get fooled by titles so easily. Now, do you understand it?

@@Noctis736 Your own reality? You are delusional. Google said what? State the source. That game cannot run 4K60 if the devs won't give an update, it runs by programming and codes, not your delusion. The PS5 alone cannot upgrade the resolution up to 4K if it wasn't programmed to. The only 60 FPS that is right about what you are saying is the fact that FFXV has Lite Mode, so this is true for all the PS4 versions and the PS5. Only cent is that the PS5 runs better frametimes than PS4 or PS4 Pro. Do not be a false information spreader and it does not hurt to swallow the truth, be realistic. Even then, the highest game clip setting you can take on the PS5 is 1920x1080 60 FPS setting, so that is another lie you've given (even if your game is 4K and a PS5 title, 1080p60 is 1080p60 recording. Face it.) I also have a PS5 and a PS4 Pro myself, I have played FFXV both and it is clear you are telling lies.

Do not fool yourself for we all have the same performance on the PS5, it can hardly do 4K60 on any PS5 title, which is why there is a graphics fidelity or a better framerate option in nearly every game which suits the player better (the average performance mode resolution of games lie around 1440-1620). You are masking it as "it's 4K60 for me" even though it is not. The game itself isn't 4k60fps, your recording settings is not related to the actual game but the resolution that your tv is set at. The game itself is not running natively at 4k 60 fps which is what the original guy said and it's true. You get 1080 P when using Lite mode the performance using the PS5 is the same as the pro! Only difference is the game runs at a stable 60 FPS and loading is faster.

When the ps5 plays ps4 games it basically becomes a boosted ps4 pro. This means any game with the option for an unlocked frame rate or a performance mode will run at 60fps. The downside is that if the devs don't patch the game (ala ghost of tsushima which runs at a checkerboard 4k @60fps) you are stuck in what ever resolution the performance mode is rendered at. So FF15 renders at 1080p then upscaled to 4k. If you select any other graphics mode it goes back to 30fps. But I will take 60fps over a resolution boost any day.

@@OrganizationXIII The requirements to have the OP Armiger Upgrade, is to have the Royal edition pack or Royal edition Disc & App, get the Royal Edition pack if you have the standard Final Fantasy XV version, or buy the Royal Edition in PlayStation store, or a Store that has the disc, Walmart, Target, ETC. After you bought the Royal Edition, the last phase is to get All 13 Royal Arms, to get them watch KZfaq, In the Story Verse, you only get 7 Royal Arms, I might suggest to get all 13 Royal Arms after you finished the game, or if you want to get all 13 Royal Arms now, is for experienced people that go to Dungeons at low level, after you collected them on Eos, you can't get the Armiger Unleashed because you need at least 3 more Royal arms on the main story.
